  • This is KEY: emotional states have nothing to do with self-realization. In fact, if you are weeping with joy you are not currently experiencing self-realization, you are experiencing an egoic, emotional outburst. Self-Realization is an episode, a remembering, of your true nature and THAT is an emotionless episode. Much weeping will occur afterward out of gratitude. The weeping comes from healing-gratitude.

  • @TadRapidly Maybe. There is only paradoxical statements at this depth. "Truth is a formless presumption."

  • I listened to this last year - found it again today - and GOT it right away -

question is: HOW to take the correct angle to make that dive into love-transcendence and surrender. Is it as simple as recalling the form and or/feeling connection of/with the Master and deciding to hand the situation over TO this, or??

  • @meriprem You let yourself be attracted. YOU don't DO it, you allow yourself to be enchanted...

  • To be in His physical presence was to sense a freedom so uniimited, the only word that comes to mind is Awesome. It was also perfect Love.

In short, His power and blessing completely undid my notions of life. I realized then, and now, that His wordless revelation is nothing that can be guessed at or intuited by self effort. It comes as a gift from a place *completely* unknown to us - the true Heart.

  • Still...the BEST communication of the Real Dharma of Human Existence!

  • @AvionDream, Fair enough, thanks for filling me in.

  • His Communication was and is always the same. Satsang or Divine Communion with the Guru is the Way and the Means.

  • Yes, yes, YES. He IS actively pressing upon us, calling, and Being with all and All; those who recognize this and Him are blessed and baptised.

  • he is so precious; his grace continues to persist.

I have felt that since he "passed" his essence; heis teachings have strenghtened. I never had the chance to meet him, or see him in person...

    none of that matters

  • His Immediacy remains, the wound of Love, the intuition of the divine, mere Remembrance... there/here is no absence. We are lucky indeed and in truth.

  • thanks giving.

mystery to this bitter sweet like experience of being, while echos of his past shine out though your experiences of that thought and feeling.

I was lucky I guess to rub shoulders with a quantum giant's men's children.

  • The talk in this group of videos is the finest spiritual communication I have ever witnessed. His clarity and concision outshines even Ken Wilber, who although i know isn't in anyway as spiritually advanced as Da is an intellectual genius. These early years seem to be his best, without any of the cynicism evident in some of his later talks.

  • Absolutely nothing has changed about

His teaching. It simply became more conformed to Him and less about submitting to the ego which He was doing then.

You will see that is true if you listen closely.

  • I meant the way he presents the teaching not the teaching itself. Of course the teaching doesn't change, because Truth doesn't change.

  • God communion is the Ultimate way out. All other 'way outs' are based on the self-contraction. Once this is seen to be the case there is no where else to go, or to try or to reach out to. With this understanding why can't I simply rest in thiscommunion and not seek else where for what isn't real? LOL

  • YES, the only real question is "what am I doing, what am I always doing?" to clench the obvious divine light...

  • I feel like Gangaji, Byron Katie, Adyashanti, Mooji and other "non-dulaistic" teachers are saying much the same thing these days, it's just that Adi Da said it publicly to the west much earlier, much better, and much more from the place of first hand knowledge.

I feel Da was the pioneer....and perhaps the Sun itself.

  • In his company I felt the current of truth, the bliss of reality, and the wound of love to the degree of infinity. I am often outshined in the radiance of god. He gave us everything, demonstrated Freedom in God, and baptised us in oceanic heart-joy.

  • @LeagueOJustice I have a number of Mooji favs but I don't feel the same electric energy from either him or Gangaji as compared to that which emanates from Adi Da. While these three can and do play in the same ballpark, Byron Katie and Adyashanti are Minor league, at best. Adi Da is in the Hall of Fame.
