Hi Titli I'm a suscriber to you and me and my mother love watching your videos and i was wondering if your a muslim? Because we are and is the videos about rost chicken/beef stuff halal? ;D
@ramyaiyer07 I Googled ("Pantry Cream" Japan) and found a forum in which it is stated that this stuff labelled Pantry Cream is 30% fat. Whipping cream is typically 35% fat, so it's almost but not quite whipping cream.
I don't know much about cooking and I want to know if what you're using is whipping cream because I couldn't find just 'cream' or 'double cream' in the store.
I love watching your videos and I hope I can try some of your recipes some time! :D (I'm not great at cooking so I'm not sure how it'll come out but I'll see) And most of all what I love about your videos is your personality :D
I made them, and they tasted great. Well... I had to make two batches, because I ate the first one. >_< Oops. But yeah, I made lemon, brandy and plain... they went down a treat at work! Thanks!
My friend sent me a link to Titli's uploads and I'm so glad he did, she's sooo funny and I love the recipes ....only down side? I'm gonna get so fat! :-D x

Everyone loved them so so so so so so so so so so so much that all that other gifts just didn't look as good! I made them just like you did! They looked so professional and I am just so thankful to you.;-)
You're awesome! I am making these today after watching your video. Thank you for posting. They look delicious, and I love your little box you put them in! :)
these are absolutely delicious ! The texture is so soft and melts in your mouth ! Next time, however, I think I'll use 150 ml of condensed milk and 150 ml of cream instead of all cream as I did just now; I find them a little bit on the chocolaty side and they are a bit soft. How long can I keep them in the fridge? I'd like to serve them for new year's eve, do I need to keep them in the freezer until then?
Innit farisahmed123 u can't judge no one yh look at ur self picking a fight just mind ur own beeswax it's her choice what she wants to wear and u can't change so I suggest keepin ur mouth closed

well.... creepy enough, i was at the supermarket and saw a package with : "make your own truffles" and i was really wondering what it was. then your awesomely awesome video comes to my face and explains it.
What a fantastically simple recipe for something we normally pay a lot of money for - and the gift presentation idea is superb. Yet another wonderful (and very humorous) video, Titli!! Merry Yuletide to you... (P.S. Rum would go nicely in the truffles, would it not?!)
You can stop them splitting by using egg yolks, about 2 or 3 for the amount you have there.
You can also help the texture by allowing the cream to cool ever so slightly before throwing it over the chocolate, if it is boiling it can make the chocolate quite grainy afterwards.
Also, if you want the truffles to keep longer, or have less of a chance of melting, an very thin layer of chocolate over the truffles before you put on the toppings does an amazing job.

Dear Titli, I would love to make these balls, but I would like to add something to the ganache to make it more 'fudgy/crumbly' in texture, and I'm thinking of ground almonds. But would this work, and do I need more cream (to make the mixture less stiff) or less cream (because nuts are fatty too)?
Any tips would be appreciated...

Dearest Titli,
it didn't work :( The ganache didn't set.
I used 300gr of milk-chocolate with 150ml of cream and mixed in some mushed bananas (chocolate and bananas - YUM!) and 300gr of plain white chocolate with also 150ml of cream.
I heated the cream gently, as it came to the boil, I poured it over the chocolate. I stirred it well, put in the fridge to set. 4 hours later I checked the 2 ganaches. they have the consitency of ... cake-icing, not hard enough to form it.
What did I do wrong? :(
SadisticCupid 2 months ago
@SadisticCupid Did you use chips or chocolate bar? And what brand of chocolate did you use?
You should still be able to rescue these by adding more chocolate (melt ganache gently!)

I used simple milk chocolate and simple white chocolate, both crushed to little bits. I believe it's the fault of the cream. Because your recipe asks for double cream, but I used "regular cream" (can't get double cream in Germany).

What a fantastically simple recipe for something we normally pay a lot of money for - and the gift presentation idea is superb. Yet another wonderful (and very humorous) video, Titli!! Merry Yuletide to you... (P.S. Rum would go nicely in the truffles, would it not?!)

@bryanholl About a tsp if you drink booze. Baileys goes well too I'm told.

Titli, I know you don't drink alcohol, but I personally like to add a splash of bourbon to my truffle mixture. It really warms it up!
