Yes, He is by far the worst announcer i have ever heard in my life, I have resulted to muting the games I can NOT stand it.. He even called Romo "Rick Romo" at least twice.. Listening to Bryant Gumbel handle play by play in a football game is like listening to dry paint. I watched the Cowboys-Packers game this past Thursday 11/29, and everything was great except Bryant Gumbel's voice and his fast,childish recitation-like way of talking. To get this job he must know some big wheel at NFL Network.

How was the quality of the overall broadcast? I didn't watch cuz I don't have the channel anymore. Was the production value better than last year? Was it good at all?

Fortunately for me when the Patriots play their last game oof the season against the giants it's going to be broadcasted on regular tv locally.

How was the quality of the overall broadcast, etc.? Per DFW talk radio, the consensus was that the prod qual was not great. Of course, they're comparing that to the high stds set by Fox & NBC. Most felt that even CBS and ESPN did better jobs. Certainly NFL Ntwk in HD was better than local DFW UHF 27 in non-HD. To me the prod quality was OK. The referee's mic didn't work half the time. But thinking back to the poor quality of CBS football from many years ago, it was certainly better than that.
