Mrspandex - there was no banning of laptops, students just have to start classes with laptops down. Don't believe all you read, of course a CS school isn't banning laptops!

i love going to neumont! it rocks... BUT the new "laptops up" policy is in effect, my laptop has been down 90% of the first two weeks of the quarter...

My boyfriend is 3 quarters into schooling here! It's great. I find the comment about the laptops hard to believe, unless there are students distracting themselves when they should be doing their group projects or something... Laptops are what they *use* in class! They take notes, do their reading, projects, and everything on those!

Great school, horrible administration. They just banned students from having laptops up in class without specific teacher permission.
