i got mine on hsn in a special packcage (it was a special that day) and i got the camera, a case, and a tripod for about 150$!

The new flip is better than the first.

Best Buy for about $140.

Register on their website, and they'll send updates making it easier to use.

It doesnt jive well with apple/mac, and barely works with Windows video editing if at all grudgingly.

But, it has it's own ediiting software built in that works pretty good.

It's so simple to use,, and with patience, fun to use.

Won't upload to You Tube on our Mac, and it won't save a movie or let you mix the movie in the Mac Movie software.

You can make a movie and watch it thats all.

3 flip Ultras given out as gifts and have returned them all.

Red record button mis-fires, or won't work, the power button too stiff to use.

Flip is aware of the problems & won't respond to complaints and ignoring them.

The rep at Best Buy says they're getting lots of returns on the Flip Ultras for those very problems.

thats really wierd, my flip works great : O i havnt had any problems with it yet, i havnt tried using the editing software because i have final cut, but the flip isnt my primary camera so i dont use it as often so that might be the case

ok people, i got the one with the 60 minutes, the "regular" its the worst thing ever, if your looking for something easy to use, this is for you, if ur looking for something thats soo freaking hard to save/upload this is also for you, i would suggest to people NOT to buy this, its bad quality, and all the software is just to crappy,

Seriously. The packaging was so hard to to open! It took us like, five minutes until my mom stabbed the package. She didn't scrape anything, though. That's the good part. But the bad part was, it broke the first, so we sent it back. Another should be here in like, a week. Also, to answer the person below Cg4ever985, the Flip is $120-$125. The highest is I think $200.000. Get it on Amazon. I got 60 min., too, and I payed $120.

The video quality is good (it's better than how it comes out on YouTube). The Flip Video software launches straight from the recorder so you don't get a CD. Plug it into your USB and the software will launch. It does have editing features but it's very basic (like truncating or changing the format from .avi). You can email right from the software or create postcards and upload to YouTube so it's pretty nifty but nothing too fancy.
