3.5G is actually SLOWER than the 4G, if it wasn't so obvious...

For this whole time, the reason why Android's UI isn't so fluid like iOS is because they don't use hardware acceleration.

When iPhone's screen is being zoomed in or scrolled, every app in the background will PAUSE, instantly. Unlike Android, they render and does NOT use hardware acceleration. >:)

As far as you saying Samsung lied? Read any blogs. OS 2.2-2.3 cannot open bluetooth communications when the phone is locked. This is on droids, HTC device etc. It's an OS issue. Most people set the timeout/lock to 15 to 20 seconds. The phones autolock. Android considered this a security measure by restricting bluetooth activation while locked but it caused more trouble than it's worth.

The samsung won't dial numbers over a locked blue tooth device.Trial attempting to dial a phone number in your car from a bluetooth headset on the Galaxy and it's a FAIL.

The Iphone 4s does this well.I returned a Galaxy 2 because it couldn't voice dial over bluetooth once the phone autolocked. I called Samsung who admitted this was an android issue.

Score for Apple.(I'm not an apple freak either--I went back to blackberry and I'm hoping Android 4.0 fixes the bluetooh issues of the Android OS.

I'm an adult. I'm not mad at a phone. If you have to take a phone out of my pocket to enter my pin or password while driving? It isn't a handsfree device. It's also a traffic ticket because I am "texting." New laws are very strict. Even looking through phonebook is texting.

Except Samsung and various other phones have DRIVING MODE for this. before you get in the car you press one button...Done....It does messaging, phone calls, gps etc etc etc. It even keeps the phone from locking while in this mode. I've used driving mode. Driving mode is misnamed because it only READs messages to you.This was noted in many pro reviews of the phone. Driving mode only read messages and the first line of emails.

IT does NOT stop autolock.The locking/dimming saves the battery. Are you using an American carrier version? Because of the American versions do not stop autolock or autodimming.

All vendors acknowledge this.If driving mode is keeping YOURS on? You have a rooted phone.
