  • what i wanna know is who is still rockin M60s? i see a dude in ACU's back there lol

  • I had to pull out an M-60 from a puddle like this at Aberdeen, which might be where this was filmed? They had several tanks they'd push in and then we'd have to jump in and attach the cables for the M88 to pull it out. It was good training and I got to drive the M88 back through the wash rack afterward. We all got filthy and smelly, but it was a lot of fun if you let it be...

  • Call chuck norris, he will get it out!

  • a friend of mine had a huge dozer in a simular situation and his came right out no problem he was building a lake for someone and it started to rain before he knew it the water was over the top of tracks then again he could not get the dozer started

  • Lol. What's the problem here? Get in the tank, attach some cables to it, drive and pull at the same time and it's free.

  • @MrBrander i have done that many times with my tractors, it work everytime

  • i love the sound of that big turbo in that fucking monster machinery

  • @Dualshock21 it's not a turbo it's a turbine engine like on a jet, you can feel the heat from more than 100ft away

  • @97markviii oh, cool

  • @97markviii, that's an M60 which has a standard piston driven engine. The Abrams, introduced in the early 1980s was the first turbine driven tank. That's why it was called "Whispering Death" at the Canadian Armor Trophy competition.

  • [iminent=4UvhzlR59l2] they can use it as a Sub.....Lol!

  • fasten your cable to the tracks not the tank

  • @TheFred1952 so you want to drag 60 tons instead of rolling 60 tons?

  • Call MacGyver, he will get it out somehow with his Swiss Army Knife

  • Looks like a job for an M88

  • "Silly stick In the Muds..."

  • after reflection, they conclude the tank was stuck.

  • in US mud drives you!

  • our tax money screwed...should not have tried to push it out, but pull it out...then no damage to tank..

  • Imagine just having a break, talking a walk in the wilderness and suddenly you see a fing tank lol

  • Fill it with air...It will float!....

  • Next time get a T-64, it never get's stuck

  • @SMGJohn Damn right there man.

  • lol tax dollers hard at work

  • even tanks get stuck in mud??

  • @gb604 lol its not stuck, the tracks are still clean even, it stopped running im sure

  • it look link ...

RC Panzer Tiger I Tank 1:16 Wasserdicht und Schwimmfähig

    and learn...

  • What is it with you americans and hard hats? What are you so afraid of? The sky?

  • @lillebror1983 You ever seen a tow cable snap? Ever see someone slip and fall on a large piece of equipment? It's a required safety item. The US government would like to not have to pay for one of it's employees to live in a nursing home for the rest of their lives because they got their skull caved in. I've seen a lot of third world laborers with no safety equipment get jacked up, but it's no big deal because for a few cents more they can get another one. We care about our people.

  • @lillebror1983 Come to germany and see some really afraid people. Worksafety over here can get so tough you actually won`t get any work done at times. :(

  • @lillebror1983 - Our bosses make us wear them - it's probably some kind of OSHA bs. Even though, if something was huge or heavy enough to fall on our head I'm pretty sure we'd wind up with a lot of other injuries besides the superficial crap that the hard hat might protect us from.

  • @lillebror1983 i hated being on the job and wearing a hard hat with nothing above me.

  • @lillebror1983 We're afraid of lawsuits.

  • @lillebror1983 YES YES WE ARE...

  • @lillebror1983 the sky is falling, the sky is falling!

  • @lillebror1983 its called safety something i think your country probably densest have

  • Who the fuck drove that tank in there? Is that you, Sargeant?

  • They got M88 and they dont know what to do lol...

  • probably a russian tank

  • @gunner9081 its a M 60 tank. the full name is M 60 Patton. i dont think that is the name of a Russian tank

  • gay

  • Good luck with that.

  • why they have helmets on their heads

  • @glupgluplji the scard of falling tanks maybe ... 1 in Mud, but where the others hehehe

  • Whos genious idea was this?

  • thats an M60 A3 propably usually it can pass through mad maybe the driver was not so good , I know cause i served in the army with it

  • "THAT WATER SMELLS NICEEE

  • Good place to make ambush XDDDD

  • бросьте его там! нафиг он вам нужен? пусть Обама его достаёт, ему ж танки нужны

  • American expertise.

  • Comment removed

  • use a huge magnet lol

  • M103

  • only in the army

  • he tough that its an russian tank that you just can drive it straight on the mud

  • yeah, all that cussing will get it out of there. lol

  • @auaiao9 lmao

  • Sieht aus wie geparkt :D

  • that sucks

  • "damn, how did russian tanks do it?"

  • OK, this looks for all the world like the pit used for training in armor recovery at Camp Shelby, and I'd bet a week's pay it is. For all of you who don't "get it" these guys are contractors and armor instructors who have deliberately shoved the tank in there, and the armor qualification students will have to come get it out, i.e.: "recover" the tank. It's not always easy, let me tell you.

  • whats with the hard hats you only get that pc bullshit in the uk lol

  • 0:09 Borat lol?

  • Comment removed

  • sgt Bilko's hover tank was batter

  • this is why it takes the army forever to get to the battle

  • Purposly pushed into the mud. So they can pull it out for practice. Why would an M60 tank be driving anyway if not for exercise purposes?.

  • how the HELL do you manage to get a tank stuck??

  • Does no one else see the two points on the hull to which they can affix chains? So that the tank could be pulled out? Using the combined traction of the two tanks? Nah, lets try and push the tank by applying pressure to a non-load bearing surface.

  • enemy can,t find em he is in heavy cover now

  • Lol, didn't tank mean "stuck" in german to confuse the german forces in ww1? :D

  • get a dodge cummins and pull that shit out :D

  • @tomcatdcn The Cummins would be the only thing left after attempting it, the body of the dodge would fall apart around it.

  • @DSVetDad I was joking XD but it wouldn't be the body that fell apart because the body isn't attached to the drive-train/ power-train it would just be the truck spinning out in the mud. :>

  • @tomcatdcn LOL!!

  • So this is how Germany lost World War 2 haha.

  • can you tell what's wrong here ?? 4 orange hard hats and 13 white hard hats

with so many supervisor you know nothing will get done ...

  • @lioncrest98 To many chiefs and not enough Indian's,,Like our government.

  • jesus guys they get them stuck on purpose to teach them how to get it out, simple as that

  • That water look nice!

  • This is what American tanks would look like in Russia.

  • I am sorry but wasnt this in some documentary film ?

  • yes its impressive that a tank got stuck i understand, but this really doesnt need tp be shared with other

  • @jamicabound He can share whatever the fuck he wants to. This is YouTube, you share god damn videos here. If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

  • @jamicabound Your opinion is also not worth sharing with others.

  • I thought tanks were designed not to get bogged o.0

  • for the people that play minecraft imagine if a creeper crew was inside

  • tank got stuck.. and the? hmmm i wonder what showed up :(

  • I would love to know how they got that tank stuck

  • Lots of "talking", not much 'doing'. lol.

  • Made in America, do I need to say more?

  • who's the asshole who drove it here? o.O

  • how long will it take them to figure out to tie a chain to it and pull it out ?

  • "Hey look, there is some mud. ...maybe if I drive in this mud. ...cool, I'm in... ...and maybe now I drive out again... - and I drive out again... ...shit."

    - So. Now you know how this happened.

  • woman drivers stop in the kitchen and bedroom

  • Tank driver: DAMMIT KNEW I SHOULD HAVE GOT THAT ANTI MUD TRACK

  • The water smells very nice! is that Borat talking?

  • suker

  • That's how americans build tanks - they go in and couldn't go outside xD

  • "whos the asshole that drove in here.. was it you sergeant??" lmaooooo

  • How... How do you even get a tank stuck? They're supposed to be able to go anywhere! :P

  • @bigwhiteyeti Well, this one was pushed in by the '88 but it's easier than one would thing to get a tank stuck. 1, Belly it. If the tracks can't make contact with the ground, then it's stuck. (look at the video of the idiot who stole the tank in California). 2) Sink it (like this one). If the engine won't run because water is up to the air intakes, it has to be recovered, or if there's too much of the belly rubbing and the tracks can't pull it, then it's stuck. 3) Flip it upside down. OW!

  • Well, have you ever recovered a tank and seen a shackle break? I have. The bits go flying WAY up into the air, then, this thing called 'gravity' pulls them back down.... you see, they tend to land near people who are recovering the vehicle (if they haven't already hit them in the chest of face).... Hence.... hard hats. Common and REQUIRED when working with armored vehicles.

I've also seen a hatch come unlatched and knock a driver unconscious in spite of a helmet, rather than killing him.

  • Is it real

  • n00bs

  • OK I have to reply to all the comments. I worked in heavy industry for 45 years (chemical plants & refineries) and had to wear hardhats because of insurence companies and the SAFETY NAZI'S.

There is absolutely no reason for hardhats in an open field except to satisfy the SAFETY NAZI'S!

What is going to fall from the sky and injure them?

If you stick your head under tracked machinery a hardhat isn't going to save you.

Please try to include a little common sense in your replys.

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain what does the national socialist party have to do with safety?

  • @ak907jk Nonsense statement........you totally missed the entire point of the comment.

    Go back to school.

  • So, what is this, a training exercise? Pretty simple recovery, drop the blade, pay out the cable, hook up and drag it out. If the tank will run, you're golden! I'd imagine nobody is still using 'A3's... so where is this training taking place?

  • @4fun1957 Look at the uniforms, and I don't think the US has used the M-60 for over 20 years. I'm betting this is video from the late 1970's or early 80's.

  • well in the Army you have to wear head gear outside and this is their standard work head gear. Often things seem dumb to civilians in the way we do things but it establishes an order to things and allows for a more uniform and synchronous military. There are a few exceptions to the head gear regulations- I was in Army Aviation and we didnt wear head gear while on the airfield working due to the risk of it getting sucked into an engine.

  • leave it and pave it over. it never happened.

  • did they ever get it out

  • Why do they all wear helmets for construktion sites? I mean, they are made to protect you from falling object, nothing else. What are they afraid for, what do they think will fall from the clear blue sky?

  • tanks dont go where the cattails grow.

  • where are the swimming shermans???

  • Comment removed

  • Tax Dollars at work,, Try a cable...

  • Do you still use these tanks? :D

  • I love the logic of Hardhats in a wide open field.

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain

    HAHAHA!!! me too!

  • Comment removed

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain Well, probably because working on / with armored vehicles is dangerous. ?

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain Well it could just randomly start raining cats and dogs; you never know

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain Thats the military for you; they like to write rules and regulations into corners were logic and reason cannot fit.

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain A hard hat would protect you from a chain or rope if it wip lashed.

  • @SuperMTNBOY Of course it will!

I foresee a 2 ounce piece of plastic saving me from a 3 pound steel shackle going 250 MPH................you bet!

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain Safety procautions will be safety procautions..

  • ну юля пендосы... кто то нассал и их танк современный вышел из строя.... ппц

  • lol the flag on the guys arm is onthe wrong side

  • @Medysonball

How about you just shut the fuck up until you actually become a soldier and actually wear the uniform that we wear proudly. just so you know it is on the correct side.

  • @REDBMW325E no you don't get it, the flag on his jacket is stitched on inversed. the stars are supposed to be on the left.

  • @Medysonball

Nope your still an idiot. I guess you haven't seen to many soldiers in your life, Trust me when i say that the flag on his uniform is correct. I have served in the army for the last 7 years, and that is how the flag looks on our uniform today. Why dont you google it and then you will understand why its backwards.

  • @REDBMW325E but i was sure the stars we re on the left side? arent they...

  • @Medysonball

normally yes it would be the other way around but on the army uniform it is reversed.

  • @REDBMW325E why.. i find it should stay the same but if its got a meaning to be reversed than i guesse its ok

  • @Medysonball

Picture the FLAG on a pole with you running forward while holding the pole.

The stars are on that side because the US is always on the move forward.

    WE NEVER RETREAT.

  • @mergatroidproduction - except during Vietnam, a few WWII battles and eventually Iraq

  • @ricko1111

    well said

  • @ricko1111 We didnt pull out of vietnam because we were losing, the public wanted to bring there boys home. We were actually winning most of the battles.

  • H8 Identifier recovery training for maint. recovery team.

  • what you call a sitting duck

  • the badger or whatever the dozer is just pushed it in by the looks of it.probably where the damage came from.it looks like a extraction exercise

  • @rayoliver34

the badger/dozer is actually a maintenance vehicle called the 88

  • This happened when the M-60 was the Main Battle Tank in the USA.....

  • Proč máte na hlavách ty přilby ??? Paka !!!

  • @732RAVEN fuck no

  • @redegeldunit420 To je armáda , nabo parodie na domobranu ?

  • They need to pump the water out and clear the dirt around the tank and check for anything else damaged since the tank portion on both sides above the tank the metal's bent that much is obvious. Then see about pulling it out after a minor repair if they need too.

  • I think were stuck?!?!?!?!?!

  • Tanks dont go where cat tails grow!

  • norris *

  • they should call chucknurris

  • a taki był AMERYKAŃSKI .

  • LOL, superGOVNOtank

  • Anyone care for some fresh water ? Why not "drink" the water and let the mud dry ?

When there is less water then there will be less mud... simple as that... and if you don´t like to "drink" the water then ask the other tank driver to apply some soil in the water...

  • Sir our intel was wrong it was supposed to be a hard bottom not a floppy ass.

  • so that's what happens when a 50 ton tank his mud

  • i think throttle pedal was stuck... it has to be recall like toyota did.LOL

  • It can run over cars. blow the crap outta buildings, but a lil sink hole fucked it up... new tactic, build moats!

  • @halo2i921 it's called a tank ditch. if you do it right, it can stop any tank.

  • no way that tank's stuck guys- hate to burst your bubbles

  • no way that tank's stuck guys- hate to burst your bubbles

  • lol was trying to push it out, should have pull him out :p

  • What a fail :-|

Obviously to confident with their equipment?

  • The few. The proud. The stuck.

  • image that in afghanistan

  • this is a metaphor for war and those who get a boner from it

  • The hard hats make it harder to figure out how to get it out.

  • rus T-60 wil be go

  • theve all got camo on but all have white hard hats on

  • This is at Aberdeen Maryland, at the H8 recovery school for extended training. The primary trainers here are ssgt Rose and I forgot the name of the shorter guy who looks like Luigi, though he is really nice and when I went through the class was no longer in the Army.

They have been using that tank forever. I went through the course in October 2006, and getting into that freezing water is a bitch.

  • @snowenorr Aberdeen !...I was there 15 moths in 83-84/arty unit....Have you hit Georgetown with all the college girls...WOW.....For some reason the only places I remember is HAMMERJACKS & ANNIE OAKLEY'S....Man Did we get fucked up. And some advise, Don't drive back to the main gate with a stop sign stuck under your POV....They got Pissed
