Good movie, although they kinda made the 80's version of the Turtles look like annoying kids, they werent like that in the series at all, the whole 80's series (shredder too) was only used to comedy anyway.

@Mexiun Agreed, the writers of this movie wanted to over glorify the 2000 reboot of TMNT so bad that they actually took a shot off the 80's cartoon :P

Personally I HATED the newer "attitudes" of the turtles compared to the 80's version especially with Raph. The "asshole bad boy" attitude of newer Raph was annoying. I rather prefer the older version's wise cracks thank you very much.

You will never see the Shredder being viciously defeated by the turtles like it did on the original comic. Even in this movie they barely did anything. I believe the first comic started by fighting/killing a gang on the streets.

Even though this movie shows the 80's turtles as weak, goofy and ridiculous, it makes the new the turtles seem less fun and overly dramatic by comparison. The new turtles end up being a watered down version of the ultra violent comic book turtles with none of the charm of the 80's turtles.

that was a fun movie that i never knew existed. the got the drawing of the 80s characters right but for some reason made them goofy especially shredder. i dont understand why they did that but i guess if they hadnt done it they couldnt show the new shedder as a psycho racist nazi like they did. @k1n63d I like all of them, each group was custom designed to hit a certain market and they hit hard. Original copies of the comic go for huge sums, people who were kids in the late eighties and early nineties will pay huge amounts for the 80s cartoon toy range and I know a few people who grew up on the comic who think the '03' series is great...shame they used the 'Back To The Sewers' style though...that was truly horrible art.
