I've dowloaded many an audio file from this tour - and i must say - of all the different shows i've heard, this concert, on this night, is the best sounding of all of them - oakland is very good too, but their performance this night is absolutely blistering - Animals will always be my favorite of their albums - i only wish i could have seen this tour live

I was 17 in 1977 at the Spectrum in Philly and this Pig floated by my head on the second level. You are right dude. Animals is the best album, so under-rated. I still have my ticket from that Floyd show and about two more over the next 10 years, one in Baltimore. They played no songs from Animals on the second (and third?) times I saw them.
@sicslipkno555666 Don't worry about a video of the original - if you get chance go and see either Aussie Floyd or Brit Floyd 2 of the best tribute bands ever. Not cheap but well worth the money. Plus think tou can watch most of their contribution to G8 on u-tube
Animals is one of my favorite all-time albums. Waters summed up the human race into 3 catagories very well, plus the music shows them at their peak. their music was so varied and unpreditable over the years, many are only now discovering just how much material a band that never should have survived the 60's there is.
i prefer the show of fort worth texas but european tour is excellent too (standhall,paris..) ,this was the best tour of pink floyd i think of all time!!
I think their European version was better than the American ones. Did you sneak these shots during the concert along with the audio? How did you get them. Very cool and rare.
