I find it both amusing and disappointing how people are brainwashed into hating and disliking things - i.e Console wars. If you like something then you like it, same goes for hating. One reason can be that it actually is a Playstation 3 exclusive.

They didn't want to rewrite the code.

Why they need to rewrite the code is because Playstation 3 is using OpenGL and XBOX is using DirectX (more specifically Direct3D)

Therefore you have to rewrite the code for each platform.

If you have a PC anyway just go with a PS3. You get much more exclusive games. Xbox really only has Gears of War as exclusive that I can think of, and i still hope that 2 and 3 will get a PC port. PS3 has Uncharted and Kingdom Hearts and a shitton of JP games (Capcom and Sony).

heres the xbox exclusives i can remember Ryse Bomberman: Act Zero Blue Dragon Crackdown 1 & 2 Fable 1 & 2 Forza Motorsport 1, 2, 3, 4 Gears of War 1, 2, 3 Halo Series Naruto: Rise of a Ninja & Ace Combat 6 Raiden 4 Saints Row 1 and from what i know a vast majority of the indie titles on the pc get ported over to the xbox and only a select few get to go to PSN. I own a PS3, an XBOX and a gaming PC.

well what i know of about the ps3 is that it has everything on there is hd or hdmi even hte disks are hd or blue ray so everything on the ps3 is always in hd quilaity that my be a reason for why the are puting it on the ps3 only...

You should get a ps3 :) multi console, that's how I do it. I've seen game footage for this game, I think it was from TB, and it looks like a nice game to come home to and relax while playing it. Looks really soothing, no doubt the musical element helps with that.

Just to clear up some confusion: Santa Monica Studio are a part of SCE (Sony Computer Entertainment). All of their games (such as the God of War series) are Sony exclusives. This game is as likely to come to PC/Xbox as a Mario or Zelda game is.

There's no arguing about that and that's got nothing to do with fanboyism. It's also (by far!) the most expensive gaming platform, so that's ok. The PS3 is a terrible choice for an arty-exclusive. Most PS3 owners that come into my store are urban people who want Madden or Call of Duty. A few people will buy something semi-intelligent like Uncharted or something, but I don't know. If I tried to tell any of them about something like this, I have a feeling I'd just get blank stares. @Holktube Well that's the usual choice for most Console players, since it's more affordable than PC. There's probably not much that can be done about it. I personally love these PS3 exclusives. I've recently gotten ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, and i must say it's a fantastic remaster.
