@SpicyPimp house music had a strong preppy influence since the early 80s many of the Chicago High Schools that were into house during my period 79-83 Lindblom, Kenwood, Whitney Young and other schools dressed in a preppy manner (ralph lauren polo, izod, k-swiss, gucci, armani ) and frequented Sauers, Playground, Power Plant, Muzik Box other spots i know because me, my friends and classmates hit those spots in H.S. and college and are still devoted house heads to this day

I'm not talking about clothing and all that nonsense. Sure, many of My friends came from the schools you mentioned. I'm speaking about the vibe, the atmosphere. Truthfully, too many str8 ppl ruined the scene. If you were actually there, you would know what I'm talking about. Real heads remember.

Wow, house has taken a serious dive. The preppy crowd took over and now it's all whack. All I have now are memories of what was wonderful and unique. I gotta go now, and flip Ron over in his grave.

Yo terry that is mos def house just like we used to do it at sawyers back in the day. with you and andre, steve hurley, farley keith, and E.T taylor. whatever happened to him anyways yall keep it slammin. L.v.
