  • Very well done. Shows what can be done if you put your mind to it. It helps if you have a supportive wife.

  • Very nice video, and way cool garage. Thanks for the video posting, and inspiration! :-)

  • what a great video - echo the same comments - hats off to you and I too just about fell over watching the ladder piece hahah

  • Your house smaller than that ))

  • My hat off to you, great video and work, but the ladder dude...........that really made me chuckle. Thanks for sharing

  • You have indeed built a "MAN CAVE" to work, play in etc. Wow the progression is fantastic, and now your wife admits she likes it!! You are one lucky man...I am adding on to mine also, but not as tall as yours. Great job, now you can party, (work on cars, toys etc)...You GO Dude...

  • Looks more like an aircraft hanger to me, awesome work man.

  • The roof trusses . . . did you build them on site.

  • I see that you reused the form boards. You are the man.

  • After pouring the walls, I see you busted up the floor and poured more concrete. Why did you do that?

  • @BadFeat The existing concrete was cracked and the dirt underneath had settled. Better to tear it out and replace it.

  • well done buddy! great job! if you was to do it again what would you have changed?

  • omg....in Pakistan u can make a complete house in 17000$...including all labor fee

  • 17000? why so much?

  • @GameUrg 20+ yards of concrete, tons of 2X6X10's, 50 sheets of OSB were $15/sheet at the time. 25 large trusses, a mile of wire (6 AWG, 12 AWG, coax and Cat5). R-19 insulation in the walls and 1000 sq-ft of R-30 in the attic. 37 sheets of Sheetrock. Custom built, insulated garage doors on both the front and back. 500 lbs of nails and Sheetrock screws. 10 gallons of primer and paint. Commercial grade vinyl siding.

    It all adds up.

  • @kc7ekk yet you didn't budget a ladder in? I just about fell over laughing after seeing your ladder building skills. Nice video and nice building nonetheless.

  • tall enough to part a r.v.

  • 5 stars bro. Great job man

  • Wow, that grage is HUGE! It looks even bigger from the inside.

Good job! Now come help me build mine! lol

  • f$%kin hell no. thats a huge garage. might as well call it a house. u used concrete then wood, man thas crazy. that looks higher than 13ft. congrats, awesum job

  • Yes, a sanctuary, that is what I intend on building in the future too! You've inspired...

  • Damn dude, all you need in there is an overhead crane and you can start building spaceships! Love your vids

  • Dude... you're a building fool! Now you can come to Kentucky and build my house. k?

  • Ahh I absolutely love my garage. My wife called it the other woman while I was building it. Now she too admits to love it. It has tons of room to work and play (or hold social gatherings, we have extended family parties inside at Thanksgiving -- 44 people comfortably last year).

Its my sanctuary. It is a nice, quiet, soundproof place to get away and gather thoughts. Or to run a table saw / angle grinder at 2:30AM and not disturb anyone.

I should have made it bigger. ;)

  • good time lapse and a very well done garage, how is it now? and do you have plans for another human time lapse video?
