However I know what happens when the area gets overpopulated with ducks / deer because there aren't enough natural predictors left to keep the numbers down. When there are too many in any certain area they starve and get diseased. I've seen it many times. It's sad to see.
Just hope that the meat is actually eaten and not just killing for the fun of it.
