i got this error 0x00000024 it was my hard drive when i rebooted i pressed f8 and selected repair and selected windows memory diagnostic since it couldn't find my hard drive i have to open the command prompt and type in rstu:C:\windows if the command is wrong i'm sorry i cant remember to finish off i had to open startup repair and it ran chkdsk when i booted up. My tip is don't interrupt ckdsk on stage 4 of 5. after i let chkdsk run it worked perfectly

Believe it or not ,after trying all tech solutions .For almost a week with no joy .I tried cleaning all air intake fans ,which turned out to be  quite clogged with dust.Rebooted straight away.;Lesson try this before going through all that tech jargon,it may just be overheating

@even093 to fix that when you restart the pc press F8 BEFORE you get the windows logo and start in safe mode and press winlogo pause-break click advanced and select startup and recovery and uncheck automatic reboot.

Many times, bluescreens can be caused simply by using the wrong drivers or if your hardware is covered in dust and is overheating.

Whenever I boot up my laptop it sends me to Windows Error Recover and I chose every option there is which are; Launch Startup Repair and Start Windows Normally. But everytime I do it keeps saying windows is loading files... Then it sends me back to the e Machines logo then back to the same Windows Error Recovery screen. Ive tried F8 and all its options. All of them even Safe Mode returns me to the same thing. Whenever Im able to get to my desktop I cant be on it more than 1-5 min.

I had a lot of trouble like that. blue screens, freezes while defragmenting, file corruptions beyond recognition ;)) viruses, all kind of cr@p like that...

I have some gray hair just from that.

I managed to stop all that.

And nowadays I just use my PC every day.

hey guys this is a very common blue screen death error 94% chance is like there are some registry errors in your system and only 4% chance is of hardware faulty ..one of my told me about to download Reginout tool i have downloaded that and run on my system in safe mode now everything is goin great..so you guys also try this tool because its an amazing tool there are many options u just have to run this tool and see the difference yourself...

If you will have memory dump & system restore activated the pc will restart corectly in normal mode. I remember having this things deactivated & trying safe mod or reinstalling windows. Know I had 3 blue screens from games & the pc alys dump the memory & restarts normal know.

@sweou Fail PSU, maybe the memory problem Gigafide described. If you have 1 memory stick of 4 gigabytes replace it with 2x2GB sticks and else. If this helps, tell me.

Ive recently bought a GeForce 8600 GT, everyting is working fine except when I start a game or alt+tab into a game. 75% of the times I get a blue screen with "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". (But the times I don't get it everything runs smooth.)

I deleted C:\windows\system32. It denied access to delete a lot of the dll files and stuff like that but apparently some files did get ereased. Dumb ass me didnt have a recovery disk or anything and i really dont want to do a last known configuration so i dont lose data. How ever i dont have the BSOD yet but i havnt turned of my computer yet. Will i even get the bsod when i do turn it off?
