  • I believe abt d broken mirror, d black cat, d garlic, standing in circles, and when u sneeze, some1 should tell you.may God Bless you!

  • I don't believe in any of these things, but many of those superstitions are based on other superstitions...

    Nonesense, stupid....

People who BELIEVE in anything, without any evidence or proove, will eventually put themselves or others at risk...

Those superstitions shown here are quiet harmless, there are some, which are very dangereous.

Sorry, for my bad English, by the way^^

Take a science book and read it!!! ;-) But don't believe it, dubblecheck it ;-)

  • you for got the one about the ladder...

  • I am not superstituos at all. Seriously all these beliefs are irrational and baseless. They were meant for primitive man who couldn't comprehend natural phenomenon. Like in ancient greece they blamed zeus when they saw lightning and thunderstorms. Also every religion is composed on a set of superstitious beliefs.

  • thumbs up if your superstious

  • kneel to a black stone 5 times a day, visit it and walk around it 7 times and kiss it to protect you = ISLAM

  • i am very superstitious i must say. and it aggravates many people..

  • i love this song

  • If a man sleeps on the floor, will he falls out of his bed?.

Does 15 minutes, can really saved you lots of money on car insurance?....lmao

  • lol imagine someone spinning around seven times at their work desk! I never heard of many of these. Once at hardware store I ran under 50+ ladders to scare my superstitious friends. They were convinced I was about to be struck by lightning.

  • i broke a mirror the other day so i could have a small piece to carry with me. does carrying a piece of the mirror ward away the bad luck caused by breaking it? well, seems to be working so far.

  • "I'm not superstitious....though I am a little stitious. "

Cool video, lots of stuff I have not ever heard about....can anyone tell me the name of the painting at 2:12?

  • Prayer is a superstition act, all religion is supperstion.

  • I have invisible flying bird men who live in outer space aka angels watching out for me. and if you get on your knees and put your hands together the great daddy in the sky aka god can hear me thoughts better. Sometimes I even talk to my dead grandma and tell her how my day has been....................Hi Beep hope all is well with you.

  • GREAT VID XD

  • I'll break a mirror as black cat passes me, while stepping on a crack under a ladder.

    That's how NOT superstitious I am :-)

    Great video

  • At 2:50, I thought of the diner scene in the movie Dumb and Dumber. lol

  • I got 13 no's and 7 yes's.

P.S. I still have 32 more years of bad luck from mirros, and I cannot believe nobody told me that you can stop the bad luck by putting it back together and burrying it in your backyard under a full moon till today. Who knows what bad things could have been prevented.

  • P.S.S. I know some people who are sometimes afraid of black DOGS crossing their path.

  • @CatsRcute03 I hope you are just joking

  • Ummmm??????

  • i got 4 black cats lol...

  • Do you win the super bowl and claim your victory to god?

Remember Jesus helped him win.....but not him.

  • im way to superstistious

  • One thing interesting to note is that every culture has its own set of superstitions. Like in India, asking where someone is going is bad luck. Sneezing before you start a task is considered as bad luck.

The reason for this is FEAR. It is safer to be afraid of something than to be bold.

  • I am extremely superstitious! I broke a mirror a while back and threw salt over my shoulder and then hammered the pieces to dust! Theres also this superstition about forks that if you drop a fork you will have a female visitor. no, not that visitor. lol, but whenever I dropped a fork, I have done it at least six times by accident, this woman I dont like would come out of nowhere and harass me. Every time I drop a fork...

  • if you drop a fork a woman will come to your door if you drop a knife a man will come to your door to drop a spoon means a birth soon, as soon as you drop it, stand on it that way u dispell evil of the visitor man? woman ok

  • i am superstious why?

in 1st grade ppl told me dont stepp on a crack break ur moms back and when i got home my mom was inured and even now her back still husts

  • is it me or is this bullshit?

  • do you think jesus and his 12 followers made 13 so that's where they get that one from.

  • I am to a degre not really

  • 3:44 is amusing. I never cover my mouth when I yawn.

  • LOLZ when i saw the yawning i yawned automatically....is that weird? anywayz i didnt cover my mouth.............oh well lol

  • I don't get 2:09. How can someone be walking over your grave? You'd have to be alive. Does it mean getting chills or goosebumps in whatever afterlife you have?

  • i think it means where you ARE to die

  • it when someone is walking over the place your GOIN to be buried

  • Christians are not to be superstitious. They are to obey and follow the teachings of the word of God.

  • "a superstition is the belief that events are influenced by specific behaviors, without having a causal relationship"

that's in the video description, vrghiks. it sounds like a pretty fair definition to me.

have you ever prayed, vrghiks? that fits the definition perfectly. no causation ever demonstrated, yet billions do it every day. i'd wager you're included in that number.

  • i don't believe in any of them! i love the song!

  • omg do pple really belive this kind of thing? wow. hey good video!

  • How are they not pointless?

  • Like the music. There were several that I did not know....Now you got me worry `cause my pet dog howls a lot. Oh well we all have to die some day...but not today!

  • did any1 see the eye at the end with the dog howling picture???

  • It's a photoshopped picture, no worries.

Cool vid, I believe in none of those ^_^

  • No, I think all beliefs in the supernatural are superstitions, including yours.

  • Christian superstitions: using Ouji boards will make you demon possessed; playing role playing games will make you demon possessed; witchcraft is real and evi; don't celebrate Halloween because it's of the devil; if you give money to this or that televangelist you will have good financial fortune in your future; prayer before a ball game will help your team win; prayer during sickness will make you well; 9-11 or some hurricane in California happened because God hates gays...need I go on?

  • Ha I know! How superstitious can one religion get?

  • Actually, Halloween was created as a holy holiday, but I don't know how devils came into it...

  • Halloween is a celebration of the dead spirits, which are still alive in spirit form, so you dress up like the dead

  • hey vrghiks:

would you like to hear another superstition i heard about?

i once heard that a certain nation believed they had to kill homosexuals, disrespectful children, and people who ate animals which did not have a split hoof.

if they did kill these people, then the crops would fail, no rain would come, and they would be stricken with disease.

they believed this because "God" told them.

this same "God" is alleged to have later started Christianity and your idea of the "Holy Spirit"

  • Religion is superstition.Holy Spirit is the truth found in the Holy scriptures.God's word.

  • @vrghiks

Pagans aren't devil worshipers, you idiot. Only crazy Christians, Muslims, and anti-Chrisitan devil worshippers even believe that there is a devil.

You are still just as superstitious as you were before. You replaced your Stone Age ones with with Bronze Age ones. Maybe you'll reach the Iron Age when you are collective Social Security checks

  • @vrghiks

Considering 'paganism' is any religious belief excluding the Abrahamic, you literally just said that other religions are superstitious because they are not yours, and your religion is not superstitious because it is yours. Maybe you can see why that is such an absurd claim to make?

You are superstitous if you believe a supernatural force effects reality. If you believe praying to a god can change things, then you are superstitious.

  • @NDLlama1 exactly all religions are inherently superstitious but I still respect them for what they are...just a collective belief of particular cultures and groups which provide a moral code (not to be confused with kindness, generosity, and true compassion) and social order.

  • Very cool vid.

  • wow! i didn't know about all this supertitious stuff!! thanx for sharing!

  • cool one!

  • it is very interesting the bizarre rituals people come up with to deal with such weird paranoias. unfortunately when i start to lump the bible with these superstitions people get very edgy.

religion and superstition aren't altogether pointless, it may all be very strange but it is also quite imaginative.
