yup loads better, to get more fps in vasta turn of aero during game play.

aero will be turned off automatically if you start a 3d application

Vista has DirectX10 which gives you better graphics but XP is a better operating system and gives you Directx9 which still gives pretty good graphics, and XP uses less HD space.

only farcry ut2004, and games based on the hl2 engine.

all worked fine.

i have to be honest, this game was made in 2004, but it is still a relitivly demanding game especialy at full settings, thanks for the comment.
