Hi JMR83. I know what you mean about firecrackers being thrown about, they can be startling if you`re not ready for it. But I`ve never known anyone get injured at Las Fallas - except by the main event ( having their ears damaged ). If you can tell me where in the world they have pyrotechnic displays greater than this one, I`d be pleased to know about it.

I saw young men and women being hushed off into ambulances after this ! I have been around the world a bit, but have never experienced anything like this. It is utterly fantastic !

I totally agree with milotalbin from Germany. I went to Valencia in 2001 to see Las Fallas, and it was beyond belief. Utterly, utterly fantastic. It`s got to be the greatest show on Earth - by a long way !

I much prefer Cleethorpes and Skegness actually. Love the penny arcades! Southend and Eastbourne always my faves.

First things first, I have been to many parts of the world and there are more far special than Fallas.
I have been brought up in the environs of Watford and Basildon, btw and yes THEY ARE BORING TOWNS, OK!
TBH, I just don't think that much of Valencia compared to other great cities in Spain, apart from the arts and sciences complex, that is it.
As for little c**ts throwing bangers on the ground sometimes in front of you without warning some people could get crippled because of that, what shyt
