I have two feeling for this interview. First if some one have this chance to talk to PM Meles the first question for me is Miss Burtukan Midekesa's. I'm not politician how ever I really enjoy the interview. The second one is I feel sorry for PM Meles , when is talking about life after being PM. This is my message to every politician involve in Ethiopian politics whether the government or the oppositions you guys have seen a lot in the past. Please please please for the sake of your children a
I believe someday ethiopia would be a leading democratic nation in Africa... Remember, oromo people are not enemy of the state. We are a people who love to live in unity with all Ethiopians as long as our God given birth rights are not undermined. We demand economic emancipation... It is not 100% in your hand, but you can make a huge impact. Peace and Love to Mother Land!
what has been done has been done, the best thing we can do, is learn from our mistake and shape our future. i believe Ethiopia will be that shining country in the near future.
Are you telling us not to be naive? Are you? I can not be naive while I clearly see the direction of my country. I think Ethiopia's obstacle and cancer is not only poverty, but people like you who neither do well in a Diaspora nor at home.
We all lucky to be lead by this man. He is well knowledgable, analytic, logical etc. If he was in some other developed country, he would have took all the prizes that has to give to the best leader in the world. We still love u Meles!! 100% u r the best. Ethiopia is lucky to be lead by u. Long live!!! What an answers for even some dam questions! no disrespect for interviewer though. Good job!!
It was great interview...We have got many answers from Mr. Meles. Except that ethiopia's access to sea port ? Assab. Hope, this too will be resolved in a timely manner !
First Thank you Mr Prime Minister, for the extra mile you walked to reach us as far as history concerned you have set the standard what a leader should be. In this countrys long history there were times the people and the government set a milestone in progress of the nation but today in this modern time your administration by you leading it, you set another milestone I congratulate you and finally Ben thank you for genuine effort and sacrifice you give to this grate cause Ethiopiawinet.
wow, i am surprise our country has come this far. this guy is a true leader and he is doing on hell of a job for our country. i really like what he said about us ( the diaspora). what he said was like he was reading my mind. i always argue with the people who does contribute money so our country can be in turmoil. i love this guy and i wish i can have a chance to see him and him only. it does not matter what we say about this man now, but history will judge him, that is when we will miss him.
Thank goodness Ethiopia has great citizens like Mr. Meles who transformed, and still transforming our country, Ethiopia! Like Ben, I was not Mr. Meless party, for that matter I do not belong to any party. But, I supported Mr. Meles many years ago after listening many of his national and international conferences, read many of his policies. Indeed, I was right, and proud of my decision. Mr. Meles did not let me down, I am sure he never will! Many thanks for that !
Ethiopia will always remember PM Meles Zenawi. I hope the radio active diasporas heed to the PM's advice to stop asking other people to do their dirty work.
I agree with Meles advice to the diaspora. Getting things done by others ( things that you do not do it personally) is unacceptable and immoral. If diaspora wants to be heard it should be made through discussion not riot.
I was LOL by Meles response of the Library question.. he would like to donate books... to the Library if some one build the Library he does not afford to build Library like the U.S. Presidents.. Good answer..
Long live PM Meles Zenawi. What a down to earth leader. The best leader ever. Thanks Ben.

How about thanking our martyrs? Why did the content of the brilliant interview got abridged as it progresses from 9:39 to 9:40?
Thanks Ben for the brilliant interview though!
Our Martyrs... we (Ethiopians) love you!

Well Said Meles,
Those who would hope to get power by hopping on others' blood should stop their dreams. G7; OLF; EPRP all should either put up themselves or shut up!
