  • the 2's ar so much nicer

  • man i cant wait to get a pair of these

  • for my accent and my midsole which should i get free run+ 2 or should i get free 3.0

  • why do you tie them so tight you make um look ugly

  • Probably the best running shoes i have. Just saying

  • I have these in red and i think its better than the free runs, real flex, sketchers n etc. and its look alot better too

  • freerun 2s r so much smexier

  • Won't your feet smell lke shit if you don't wear socks

  • Does this shoe run a little more narrow than the Nike Free Run+ 2's? Thanks.

  • nike free run +3 and nike free run +2 , which one is better ??

  • @MaddyMatrix Is the +3 even out yet?

  • I'ts a 100% made in China

  • Your heel isn't SUPPOSED to heel strike, so the heel material at the back shouldn't be a problem if you use them correctly.

  • @Imranrulezz Exactly, seriously people this is a hardcore barefoot shoe, transition into it heel striking will 100% injure on this shoe.

  • @dano2website Hardcore? Vibram Fivefingers are hardcore. These are just more mainstream. Nike shouldn't have made the heel have more cushioning than the forefoot. They are making it harder to land on your forefoot and easier to heel strike. so no, these aren't true barefoot shoes.

  • @Imranrulezz They aren't vibram hardcore. However, most high school teams are against bf running. This would be the most minimal the majority of people will go.

  • @dano2website Exactly.

  • i have got those shoes but it is the 3.0 not the 3.0 v3 shit

  • @EverestParkourTeam you either have v1, v2 or v3. This is just a new upper same shoe you have :P

  • Wait why aren't you supposed to wear socks?

  • @SillySniiper14 You can but it is designed to do otherwise. I use socks but since it goes for the "barefoot" feel they wanted you to wear it barefoot too lol.

  • ok im ordering custom nike free run 2.0 off of nikeid but i cant decide what sole to get. can someone tell me which one os better the 2.0's or 3.0's??

  • These are ugly though

  • @DilfyyKiD831 Thier running shoes not "Dayum gurl those kicks is sexy" shoes.

  • @DilfyyKiD831 those are hella sexy, idk what youre talking about

  • I'm buying it

  • "the grey lines keep the foot in place" no, the grey PAINT is just for design..

  • I'm not sure what shoes I should get. Nike free run 2 or lunarglide 3.

  • @Kane123Mask Lunarglide=Good support for neutral to mild over-pronation Free-Run= Low support training tool

  • @dano2website yeah that what i see lol and their both 100$+

  • @Kane123Mask Hey dude, I have the Lunarglide 3's

A few things to keep in mind, the lunar glides have a high heel support, I actually get an inch or so taller whenever I where them.

If you're looking for a shoe with BALANCE, get the freeruns

if you're looking for a running shoe, lunar glides.

  • @TheJasonSoon thanks man, im getting lunarglide i want to sprint for long time.

  • Thx. But if u have a specific website , where I can a sale, let me know

  • Moms knocking

  • How much were these??

  • @luram86 when i got em 100USD but you can find em cheaper now.

  • That looks really cheap

  • @luram86 if $90 is cheap to you

  • @gaimafolife29 $90? I use to think that was money when I was like 14 years old $1000 goes like water now a days. That doesn't mean throw your money away, only thing is $90 in reality is nothing, especially if you have a job. Anytime i buy something, no matter the price, I make sure I have at least double the amount of money I am going to pay after purchasing. So if I were to buy these, I;m going out with $360, then there's no need to complain.

  • Would you happen to know how they compare in sizing to the Nike Free Run 2+? I am a 11.5 in the Free Run 2 so I was wondering if I would be the same in the Free 3.0 v3 or if I should go up half a size to 12?

  • @hrdcorepunk7769 Probably the same i have a free run 1 and a free 3.0 and am 11 in both. And their both made by the same company so it's likely their sized the same.

  • Reebok ZigTech vs Nike Free Run vs Adidas adiZERO... which one's the best tech?

  • @Darkness1996Infinity Adizero i have no experience with but it is not a traditional style shoe so i'd doubt it would be very good. The zigtech is a fashion everyday shoe not a running shoe it gives the support of a 8oz shoe in 15oz(im guessing 15oz correct me) and the free run is great if your a neutral runner but if you need pronation control go with an asics shoe like the kayano but for neutral <40mpw running go with free-run.

  • They need to make a Nike Free 0.0

I don't plan on buying another pair of Free's until they have zero differential (zero-drop) from heel to toe. The thicker heel makes it less barefoot. But I will say it is a great transitional shoe into a level midsole. And the 3.0's are still very nice (just stay away from 5.0 and 7.0 if you want "barefoot").

  • @jonnynite You can argue that however i believe that the little support in the 3.0 is necessary and that a zero drop shoe shouldn't be a primary shoe just a workout shoe. I used to believe in the same stuff you say but barefoot is a fad and it gets people hurt more often than it doesn't. Nike makes the 3.0 for a barefoot tool and the 5.0. the free-run and 7.0 would be okay for trainers but still their meant to be tools to improve form and strengthen muscles.

  • @vexehfy what kind of terrain you gonna be running on?

  • @cannibal566 Zigtech's wpn't have anything over free 3.0's terrain wise. Zigs do have more support but are also intended on being style/casual shoes. There fore they have unnecessary weight. If your going for off road get off road running sneakers and if you want more support get asics gel nimbus or kayano. However this shoe is good for smaller runs and improving form.

  • very well done review

  • @zaphod2 Thanks!

  • song?

  • @AtomikPunk95 Faint-Linkin Park

  • Awsome thanks for the info

  • I guess what I'm asking as well is, do you recommend the +2 or the 3.0 v3? Thank you and great video btw.

  • @joshuatree1001 Nike free comes in 3 types, the 7.0 being the least minimal the free run/5.0 which is more minimal and the most minimal is the 3.0. They are all different series, this is not the free run 3 instead it is the free 3.0 version 3. As for recommending, it would depend on how much mileage you run. If its nothing crazy like 20-30mpw than go for the 3.0 but ease into it but if your a high mileage guy than the extra cushioning in the free-run is needed to prevent injury. and thx :)

  • @joshuatree1001 I have the +2 and the old 3.0-the new 3.0's are heavier. I would recommend the +2, especially if you overpronate. they are a good mix of cushion and lightweight.

  • So are these the next generation? Does it go Free Run, Free Run+2, Free Run 3.0 etc? Or are these just another shoe next to the +2's?

  • @joshuatree1001

3.0's are a different, more minimal shoe.

  • The lines are supposed to mimic tendons in your foot.

  • @Tizzacious Yes they are, thanks for watching:)

  • @dano2website I'm sorry, i am still confused. Are these the next generation as in Free Run, Free Run +2, Free Run 3.0 etc? Or are these just another model next to the 2's and they will have a 3 coming soon? Also, off topic, the reason these don't last as long is probably because they are made out of nothing you know? My Nike Airs i bought in 09' are still good and have plenty of juice left in them. Its because they are thicker, so a lighter run comes at a price...

  • Can the Free 3.0 used for cross-training ??? need expert opinion before i make the purchase

  • @jjozzy007 For x-training like weight lifting and biking it won't really make a difference. I definitely recommend it for anything on your feet like jump rope or A-skips because it will give the benefits on minimalism but you don't need cushioning for those activities so its a win-win and highly recommended over a cushioned trainer. I only use these for up to 4-5 miles though so if you wanna run in them ever than don't go to far.

  • @dano2website THANKS, that's a big help !!!!!!!

  • @jjozzy007 your welcome :)

  • Would you use these for races or practice even though running for sevral miles without getting shin splits i do cross country so im debateing if these would help or not.

  • @CrackerBoy3STF I would use these for 2-5 mile recovery runs and speed-work if you don't use spikes for that to get the benefit of minimal running and use a more cushioned shoe for long runs. As for racing you can use these as flats but use spikes so that i have more grip on slippery courses/hills.

  • does this have nike+ ipod??

  • @smoshmonstermash sadly it does not because the sole isn't thick enough.

  • what is the name of the song in the beginning?

  • @TheHXCLee Faint-Linkin Park

  • Awesome review!

  • @DancingRandy65 Thanks!

  • @simonkiller123 sadly,no. However, the next shoe up, the nike free run, has nike+

  • thumbs up if the end music made you jump !

  • So r these the best free runs so far?

  • @crazypencil100 These are the most minimal in the nike "free" series. They also have a durable upper bu lack a long lasting sole. To me they are the best in the "free" series and i've tried most of the versions.

  • @dano2website Is the Free 3.0 lighter/more minimal than the Free Run 2?

  • @bubbah Yes, it is lighter. The 3.0 is 7.1oz and the free run 2 is 9.3oz(size 9). The free 3.0 is more minimal with a much more flexible mid sole, a 4mm shorter heal, and a more minimal upper because of the spandex in the back.
