I love how bleak this ending is, with everyone beaten and battered to hell and back... It did the best job at conveying how all seemed to be lost, and how everyone was losing faith. I think it was honestly the best part of the series (since the ending personally pissed me off, just a matter of opinion, though). (Except story time with Excalibur was EPIC)
