  • this isn't really the best quad throw... real quality quad throws are ones done by zhang/zhang and shen/zhao although i have to commend them on landing it

  • Great height. I'd be scared being thrown up high in the air.

  • I would still kill myself doing this even if I was on solid ground, landed on two feet, and was covered in bubble wrap.

  • Kavaguti and Smirnov have landed this jump over 10 times in competition, where are Trent and Vise now anyways?

  • beautiful :) it was totally clean :)

  • I would have not counted this as a quad, he twister her 1 full of a revolution before he let her go. She only rotated 3 times on her own.

  • That's why its called a THROW quadruple salchow, most of them look like that even the throw triples.

  • @xbluexgreenx

you need glasses if you think she is fat.

  • That was so amazing, but yeah, I wish Shen had just stood up on that huge, beautiful quad in Salt Lake.

  • I REALLY wish Shen and Zhao had held onto the landing at the 98 Olympics, theirs was by far the cleanest and most spectacular, and she LANDED THE DAMN THING AND then lost her edge for no reason!

  • I think you mean 2002, but I so agree. that would have been spectacular.

  • whoops, yeah duh, can't believe I made that typo

  • it doesnt matter look at Zhang/zhang throw quad salchow it is the best in the buissness even if they didnt land it internationally the 2006 oly silver medalist are the most consistant

  • she almost touched the ice, but she didn't!!! i love 'em but they nvr really got a good placement yet. hope they do soon.

  • cool! sasha landed one in practice and it was landed a lot like this one. i hope she is able to do one for vancouver 2010.

  • kawaguchi and smirnov landed it in coupe de nice too.

  • Canadians Jessica Miller / Ian Moram also landed it this evening.

  • yes, but it was not considered clean, it was two footed for ISU.

  • I wrote landed. Not cleanly landed.

  • no it wasn't, it was ratified by the ISU as the first clean throw quadruple salchow in international competition.
