These jails need to be investigated. I know they have a job to do, but i remember when i got arrested, and i couldn't even bend down in booking w/o them putting me face first to the floor saying i was "reaching", and then to top it off after one cop is literally trying to break my arm they are constantly telling me to stop resisting when i was just as relax, but in pain telling them to stop. The female guard was conducting the pat down. The male guard had no cause to put his hands on the woman's breasts. Heappears to have patted the front of the breast only -what for? Several people have told me that it takes a certain type of personality to work in these facilities. A lot of times, the same mentality. This is a closed environment. In order to get the "job done", the staff have to work together -- even if it means turning a blind eye to illegal behaviors.

we have a program like that here, first we send them to the watershed or something, then we send those kind to boot camp.
some of them are now professionals, accuntants, nurses, teachers etc.
Jail pretty much is a revolving door, but its the only place that we can keep them until a judge sees them.
its not a good place at all, and being actually sentanced to it doesnt work, I agree there.

@AucklandMate24 boot-camp is just a newer version of "scared straight" shock therapy-not effective for all offenders. i rather like court mandated rehab for addicts with probation instead of jail time. treating rather than punishing crime with drugs as the root problem. also better mental health treatment for offenders works.

Marijuana is illegal, and my sister is not supposed to be taking Oxies.

drugs that he gave her now killed her, she died yesterday.
I charged him with doctor shopping, Perjury, Drug Possession and Distribution.
I got my sister to a rehab, and gave her a ticket, but I ended up paying it myself

I guess if your'e in any kind of trouble with breaking the law-it helps to have a lot of money to spend on a good defense lawyer to even have a slim chance at getting off with a not-guity verdict or with an easy sentence/probation. It shouldn't be that way, but the phrase "money talks/bullshit walks" is true still.
