I think they should do away with the brooms.. I get it that its supposed to be witht eh books. but it could be way more athletic without the brooms.

Don't knock it until you try it. It would be a different sport without brooms. That being said, I think they need to do away with the broom/bludger rule...blocking gave the broom an extra purpose.
