I don't understand what this cover adds to the original. The guitar tone is heavier, but it's so one-dimensional. The Kinks version has a crunchy quality in the guitar tone. The vocals are roughly equal. The Kinks solo was awesome, a unique all-over-the-place sound to it. EVH's solo, like all of his solos, are just cloned from a master copy.

Most pointless cover ever. It added nothing but took away quite a bit. Now go ahead and flame me, but argue reasonably. No need to swear like a 13-year-old
