My main actor (who sung it) and I couldn't stop laughing when that part came up.
The song itself was actually written by William Kemmler while he was on death row waiting on his execution. I had found some blurb from some journalist at the time that said if Kemmler wasn't being executed for his crimes he should be for thinking he was a song writer!
