  • @Ggreenvideos you can buy an external screen, and it has A/V output so you can use another one.

  • your seeing things

  • that 20 drope he was saying it was bad but he manage to get a camera at the bottom and clime back up to throw his stick down and then clime back down lol holy shit he puts alote of work in to filming simple things 4:57

  • anyone else notcie the can of bearspray when hes showing the old video camera

  • 8:44

shredding on a harmonica has to be the best moral booster

  • But why is he putting his tent made out of camera tripod exactly where water will flow if it rains a bit more?

    :S

  • @supernova7 I don't see anything at 3:46

  • This show ain't that great. I think Man vs Wild is much better. Bear actually show you surviving technique and plant and stuff to used, such as starting fire, they usually make most use of their time. This show look like it showing a averaging person who lost in the wood, more like trying to endure the harsh evironment, than surviving. Who care if he just him by himself, I mean this show teaching you how to survive, but all it show is just a guy holding a camera and finding some berries.

  • the guy spends 3 days on a freezing mountain with no food etc. ... and he still apologizes for swearing... that is what you call tough.

  • cam turned at like 3:18 then someones walking in the distance?

  • @PatnCodyFTW - if you watch the clouds...they change at the second that the camera stops turning. Proving the time lapse.

  • He filmed himself WHILE climbing down a 120ft drop?

    Balls of fuckin' steel.

  • @antagonist42 20ft

  • I've spent many, many days (months when totalled) in Canadian mountain backcountry hiking. I basically do it every year. With all utmost respect for Les, this show and his skills, me and my peers jokingly refer to him as;

    "Starvingman"

...because essentially that's what the poor guy does. One of the things he can't really convey in this episode or the Alaskan one is that the #1 thing is keeping a positive outlook against all the pain and exhaustion and the hunger.

  • Hes gonna be like a taco truck burrito wrapped in that tin foil, for the bears

  • Les stroud should play minecraft and show us how to survive.

  • Does he have toiletpaper?

  • Damn i wish i could play harmonica like him :(

  • "That's bear crap....." "Okay, that's bear droppings"

  • Much respect for this guy!!! It's twice the work to do this filming on his own!! It makes me tired just thinking about all the effort.

  • y ditch the cam?

  • bear grylls would've sifted through the bear crap for undigested berries to eat!

  • @Boganvillar he's a fake, ya no.

  • @ultimatenick37 ,...so ya know ... Les is real , he makes his living as a survival racer,.. he test survival equipment for outdoor companies also.... he is as Cody Lundin from dual survival both of those guys are as tough as nails....

  • He should just carry a handheld camera, I wouldn't mind the shots just with him carrying it around, I feel bad knowing he has to climb all the way back up or walk like 300 metres to go back and grab a camera. :(

  • @Masterpivot292 Yeah....he should just bring 3 GoPros and 2 mics (1 for backup) and 10lbs worth of batteries and SD cards....way easier and lighter

  • @legoliker7517 GoPros are crap for this type of filming. They have no monitor to see if you're filming yourself or not. Could be missing very important footage. They're not that great anyway.

  • no fire no hunting...come on les...get started! :-)

  • Its a tree stump.

  • how about at 7:00 you see someone walking while the camera moves!!!please explain that!

  • @darkserenit thats les...

  • @darkserenit You can see earlier in the episode he has a remote control for the camera. I'm assuming it zooms and pans at the press of a button. Also, that is les you are seeing walking.

  • how is he tapeing him self when hes showing his stuff to us but hes still on cam how dose that work???????????

  • @bman68872 He's got a few cameras and tripods. He holds one taping himself sometimes to get different angles.

  • @bman68872 tripod and he has like 5cameras on his backpack that weighs about 60lb

  • Happy song

  • thats really not a good place to set camp

  • it must be a pain in the ass to keep retrieving those camera's from different angles.

  • it's so poor that every time he finish shooting a scene he has to go back and pick up that camera

  • at 3:46 why is there a person,, les is holding the camera,, or am i seeing things ??

  • @7Supernova7 i HAVE to be brutally honest, it DOES look like a person but if you look closer it's brown, jagged and COULD bee a tree stump

  • @Dafidd tree stump, your right i also see it

  • @Dafidd

  • @Dafidd its a tree stump...

  • @Dafidd It is indeed a broken tree stomp. Watcjhing episode in HD, you can see the broken part of the inside wood witch is lighter then the rest of it.

I knew Les wouldn`t mess around or lie. He`s just too good for that ^^

  • @Dafidd if you pause right on 3:46 you can see it clearer and its a hollowed out tree

  • @Dafidd You can definitely tell it's a tree stump. Part of it is broken off, and you can see the lighter part that wasn't broken off on the side.

  • @Dafidd it IS a Tree Stump ;)

  • @Dafidd im pretty sure that it is some kind of wood gnome.

  • @Dafidd thats a tree stump.

  • @7Supernova7 it just looks like the bottom part of a broken tree.

  • @7Supernova7 If you watched the first part, one of his cameras has some kind of rod or tripod attached to it; he adjusts the camera so it looks up at him.

  • @whitewulfess ho thanks

  • @7Supernova7 pause the video and look. It's a stump.

  • @7Supernova7 that is definitely a person. uh oh. fake >.<

  • @7Supernova7

I say 3:46 is a person dressed in a tree stump costume.

Either that or just an ordinary tree stump.

  • @7Supernova7 nah, it's a splintered tree stump. have to say though, it does look so much like a person that it made me jump :p

  • @7Supernova7 If you look closely when he gets dropped off it looks like theres somebody in a black jacket waving to the helicopter.

  • @whowantsabighug to me it just looks like his equiptment waving in the wind, and i can now also see on this vid that its just a tree stump,, :D

  • @7Supernova7 You can definitely tell it's a tree stump. Part of it is broken off, and you can see the lighter part that wasn't broken off on the side.

  • @7Supernova7 ya that is definitely not a person

  • @7Supernova7 definitely a tree stump up close

  • @7Supernova7 i had to watch it like 100 times lol

  • @7Supernova7 it was a tree stump watch it again

  • @7Supernova7 It's a tree stump

  • @7Supernova7 .. yes that is an old rotten treestump.

  • @7Supernova7 I dont know what ur heading to, but i guess u ment that tree stump at 3:46??

  • @7Supernova7 That is actually a very tall stump of a tree that broke off about 6 foot up. It's got a jagged top, I did a frame by frame examination. At about 3:44 you can get a better view that it is a tree trunk about 2 foot diameter. Yeah though when you first glance at it, it does look kind of like a person standing oddly.

  • damn there r some creepy sounds on this show, but i love it to death

  • I would have put the survival blanket under my clothes at least.

  • There are times when I wish that Les would go into slightly more detail about the wild edibles that he eats like the paintbrush plant and huckleberries.

  • @katanaburner well if u at least catch the name u can look up more stuff in the internet or sumthing.

  • @KODAKGUYNUMBER1 Of course. Just lazy sometimes ya know? =D

  • - hmm that 20 foot drop- he gets down, sets up a cam, and goes back up it, and fakes a fall... interresting.. - and Who's the phony??

  • @Dafidd ROFL

  • i wonder if he has a hidden 45 i mean he must it would be stupid not to have some kind of protection

  • Les' happy song is the shit (amazing)!

  • at 3;07 did he just leave his camera? lol =P

  • @00Avenger17 Nah he has to turn around and go get it and then go back. Then they edit those parts =/

  • @YuG074 wow!! xD lol that kind of sux for Les to do that every time =S oh well Les is awesome =P hehe !!!!!!!

  • Wonder where he got the snausage from?

  • instead of a loud pos silver crap...carry a 12 dollar blue tarp. 10x10....way more usefull weighs about 8 grams more............

  • his happy song was awsome xD

  • when he said thats bear crap i thought he was watching man vs wild.

  • i have one of his books and it is GOOD. nice haul with those huckleberries but i dont like the taste of them. Thats one hell of a cliff at 3:38

  • That is one loud blanket. "Goodnight" *crinkle crinkle shshshshsh*

  • @earthbyerin

yea i've tried sleeping with one of those things on a survival camp out, that shit is so loud you can't sleep

  • they should make them out of cling wrap

  • @earthbyerin

yea but cling wrap wouldn't work to well

  • thats bear crap.... ok, that's bear droppings lol

  • ugh I hate the scenes where he looks at the camera and then walks away cuz then I know that he had to walk all the way back and get the camera!!!

  • I agree. Now it seems just a waste of time.

  • @liddddddd I know! I feel so sorry for him. Does he carry some kind of GPS so his team can find him in case of an emergency? I hope so.

  • "Up here Im not surviving at all . . . just enduring."

Well put. There is indeed a difference.

  • lol

  • wind and rain all three days.... yeah british columbia!!!
