I can't even explain the powerful emotional response this song triggers within me. I have never listened to anything that has made me feel so vulnerable, yet so safe in the arms of the Lord at the same time.
@TathianaJ perhaps it's not that their hearts are hard. one song may not speak to everyone in the same way. sometimes, it requires several other ways for God to speak through to someone, not necessarily just one particular song.
I actually like the fact that the rest is "boring". It's a simple cry out. And then the tag is like a musical expression of that. It's a really nice contrast, in my opinion.
@kwgthacher Shane & Shane have a song similar to this one, in the way that they sing the song, and then have an interlude with some of the same melodies, but more intricacy and depth. Instead of putting the interlude on the end of the song, they actually have it as two songs, and there is a break in between. Just think of the second part as another song, but with an upside; there's no chance of not getting the second part when your iPod is on shuffle. :-)
Oh man we had music prayer tonite at my youth group and this was the song that was playing in the backround while my awsome youth pastor was praying i think it touched alot of people. Godbless
This band is great, almost perfect. However, I am excited to see the people Gungor will inspire. This world needs more artists that write quality music that match the quality in the lyrics. Instead of trying to match whats popular and easy they did what the Holy Spirit led them to do. This will definitely go in my ipod where there are few "Christian" artists, for very few of them (in my opinion) can not bare the name "artist."

@hiimbailey It does, doesn't it? That was the first thing I thought when I heard this song. I listened to the instrumental first and then the whole thing, and it is really amazing. If only Your Hand in Mine was more like a worship song, it would be like this. I would be able to feel His presence like I do with Gungor's music.
@benjaminburgess07 Well, yea, it is Michael's last name, and aesthetically speaking, yes Gungor is horrible. But that's what gives it appeal to me, the fact that the name sounds more like a metal band than CCM. It makes them stand out in my mind and is a reminder that christianity isn't always aesthetically apealing. A lot of times you have to look a little deeper, you have to scratch the surface and see what's underneath :-D
Such BEAUTIFUL music. ♥♥♥ God bless!:)

If Explosions in the Sky made worship music, this would be it.

This kind of reminds me of Explosions in the Sky with words. So beautiful.
