Magnificent playing! BUT, anything but a "simple version" . Double strums and resquiadoes(sp?) aren't simple to us Sunday string thumpers. Heck, most of us are lucky to play a C6 without string buzz. ;)
I wasn't kidding. You are great. I see you are from Belgium and a friend of mine said he saw him in France. He used to play about an hour from my house at Tony Paco's in Toledo Ohio. You are of a caliber to work with those guys.
Then I must apologise. It sure is quite the compliment coming from an accomplished player like yourself. Thank you so much! I once saw the Cheap Suit Serenaders perform here in Belgium some ten-fifteen years ago. I have always liked Crumb and his impeccable taste in music.
oh my, this is my very most favourite song ever, and i play a little uke, my new venture is to learn this! hours of fun! thanks so much, i would love some chord hints...you make an amazing job by the way, you're my new hero mister, beside r.crumb, up there!
Out of sheer amazement and disbelief, I just dropped and broke my uke after reading this comment... Nevertheless, thanks for that wonderful compliment!!
Simply superb as usual, wininboy. Fantastic strumming and a couple of very sweet chord changes in there! You get the most out of that old Martin. Thanks for this and all your other great videos. Keep posting! 5 Stars.
Thank you, Ed. And erm... (maybe this is the wrong place to post this reply) Was your dad really a member of Harry Reser's band? I'd love to hear more about that! What was his name? I have a few 78's of them and they're all great recordings.
I like that!
You haven't got all the chords, but you get away with it!
You've got that George Formby roll, I wish I could do that!

Me too. Bob Brozman did the best steel work I've heard on that album. You are right up there buddy.
