Too many churches and pastors fall by the wayside because of pride, lack of humility etc. The way they talked in this video lets you know the real spirit behind the revival. Churches can last for years in this state but when the power dies off so does the church. People forget what it took to get the power there in the first place. No matter how powerful a church gets we still need to pray, we still need to fast, we still need to read the word, live a life of humility etc
I viewed a tape recording of the BVR while living in the Bush in Alaska. The anointing came through the recording and my husband and I were so moved we packed up our truck and drove all the way out of the interior of Alaska and straight to Brownsville. We arrived just as the service started. Steve preached, Lindell sang, and I have never been the same since. Thank you My Living God, Jesus my Redeemer and the Holy Spirit for moving in our lives everyday. Peace that passes understanding!
I wasnt at the revival i wasnt a christian then. i got a tape of the worship when i was a teen, i found it in my clothes drawer. To this day i have no idea how it got there, it even had my name on it. I listened to it over and over i listened to it at home at school had with me evrywhere. I didnt grow up christian, but there was something about those songs that got ahold of me, I know now its the holy spirit. i wept and wept listening as a teen.They are just as annointed now as they were then
My youth group went to this revival from Arkansas. We drove over 15 hours almost straight through. We got to go to 3 services & stood in line for several hours in July heat. God changed many lives in our church here. It was amazing!!! I still sing the worship songs I learned there as a reminder of what God did for me personally, & each time I am brought to my knees before a Holy God!!

I was there, several times. There is no debate, this was true revival. Churches from our town in Iowa took buses there and stood in line for hours just to be part of Gods revival. I'll pray for all who don't believe, and for the person that has been expressing his or her negative thoughts here. Quit listening to satan as he whispers in your ear.

I attended Brownsville Revival when I was in Pensicola. It was a most moving in the spirit Church I have ever attended. I play the CD from that time and hear the songs from 10 years ago and it brings me right back to that time. "Look what the Lord has done" Steve Hill and Pastor Kilpatrick were amazing! And Lindell Cooley is a blessed Worship leader!

Gn18:23 on: "Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?" abraham goes down to 10 righteous, and still God responds he would spare the cities. i'm sure God put that there for a reason. in iraq theres a huge christian community.....

aside from that, Christ died for their sins, too. we are not any different from iraqi people, we were saved by God's mercy and grace, even when we didn't even think of God (romans).. would God really forgive us and not them?

I saw a woman bound by severe depression set free at a revival while they were singing this song. There is not one place found my friend as their is no certain place that says either way my friend..... For anyone to judge a persons heart and salvation since that is not in line with a certain man made theology, whom you do not know if they are bearing true fruit is not wise at all, as also are the ignorant person who pronounces a person saved, for only God knows if their repentance was sincere.
To say a Christian can not have a demon is unproven, though many would like to believe it can not happen out of great fear or ignorance does not dismiss the probability at all. I have heard some mention about light and darkness can not exist in the same area, yet if you are saved, you are SEALED away from the darkness or evil that is still in you...better known as the flesh and your sinful nature, not to mention the world evil world we live in and the holy spirit is very much alive and...
active in this darkened world. I have dealt with dozens of Christians who in the past were involved in Satanism, and occult practices and accepted Christ and were bearing real fruit, yet still they had to deal with their past sins and the spirits involved with those certain sins. As it is wise not to give evil too much attention, it is also foolish or ignorant to dismiss it and how it can work.

A pagan is anyone who lacks special revelation from God, i.e. the Bible. Pagans have to guess about the nature of the spiritual world and create manmade rituals to manipulate that world. I worry when churches invent these previously unheard of "spiritual warfare" techniques and terms as though they were pagans with no Scripture to guide them. I was there, several times. There is no debate, this was true revival. Churches from our town in Iowa took buses there and stood in line for hours just to be part of Gods revival. If you can explain to me how I am wrong, then I will repent. John Kilpatrick very clearly stated from the pulpit, that if Hank Hanegraaf did not repent, his ministry was going to be taken off the air. Why is Hank still thriving?

I attended Brownsville Revival when I was in Pensicola. It was a most moving in the spirit Church I have ever attended. I play the CD from that time and hear the songs from 10 years ago and it brings me right back to that time. "Look what the Lord has done" Steve Hill and Pastor Kilpatrick were amazing! And Lindell Cooley is a blessed Worship leader!

@frankmorency i guess i can see what you're saying, it just seems a little off to make war in the name of God.. even to stay in war in the name of God.. wasn't Jesus' message one of compassion, forgiveness, hope, love for one another? people & children are being killed in Iraq, is that the love jesus preached? in fact he said "love your enemies". also it's the Lord's job to decide what to take from whom and how; its his plan, his salvation, his work. we're instruments we dont decide these things

@frankmorency it's hard for me to calmly grasp the implications of what you're saying... because what youre saying would mean that any country can invade and kill whichever people they want, say it's in the name of God and justify it with the word of God. my question would be.... how do we really know if it's God or man doing this war? what are the motivations? can you honestly tell me the motivations of people in power have anything at all to do with God's motivations for doing things?

Gn18:23 on: "Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?" abraham goes down to 10 righteous, and still God responds he would spare the cities. i'm sure God put that there for a reason. in iraq theres a huge christian community.....

aside from that, Christ died for their sins, too. we are not any different from iraqi people, we were saved by God's mercy and grace, even when we didn't even think of God (romans).. would God really forgive us and not them?

and i just can't see what the iraqi people do for which they would deserve God's "revenge" that WE don't do. we are all human beings in need of God. my country just as sinful and deserving of God's wrath. but no country, no person, is beyond grace & redemption.

I love to hear this song sung under the anointing of God. I've witnessed the power of God move while the singers were singing this song. I saw a woman bound by severe depression set free at a revival while they were singing this song. That has been about four years ago, and she is still going on for God, completely set free of depression. She absoletely took back what the devil stole from her!!

if a demon entered into your husband he was not saved in the first place cuz when someone is saved they are washed in the blood of Jesus and if a demon try's to enter into a saved person the demon would have to then walk all on the blood of Jesus that Jesus Himself poured on that person and if the demon walks on the blood of Jesus then the demon would have to get saved too i have never been to this meeting but i do know if someone has a demon from this sorry but there not saved to start with!

when commanded in the name, the power, and the blood of Christ to do so... which with disgust and anger they reluctantly do. I have heard them cry out to lucifer to help them but God is MIGHTY! The demons really do tremble!!! Be careful to judge a persons salvation and say they are unsaved if they have a evil spirit, for to say so against a fellow brother or sister in Christ is not wise at all. Where in the Bible does it clearly say a Christian can not have a demon?

There is not one place found my friend as their is no certain place that says either way my friend..... For anyone to judge a persons heart and salvation since that is not in line with a certain man made theology, whom you do not know if they are bearing true fruit is not wise at all, as also are the ignorant person who pronounces a person saved, for only God knows if their repentance was sincere.

I have dealt with dozens of Christians who in the past were involved in Satanism, and occult practices and accepted Christ and were bearing real fruit, yet still they had to deal with their past sins and the spirits involved with those certain sins. i would be wary of the devil. the only time the devil leaves you alone is if you're not doing something right for God. please do not see this as me attacking you. A pagan is anyone who lacks special revelation from God, i.e. the Bible. Pagans have to guess about the nature of the spiritual world and create manmade rituals to manipulate that world. I worry when churches invent these previously unheard of "spiritual warfare" techniques and terms as though they were pagans with no Scripture to guide them. When we go beyond that, we are trafficking in forbidden territory.

Only God knows. This was all sponatneous according to this world. It just happened. They had a prayer meeting and it never ended! The next revival can happen with you and a friend praying in a hallway! With anyone calling on God to start a revival and Him granting that request! AMEN!!! Halleluia!
