You may not know this, but God placed that "professional" in your life to help you. You should be thankful to Him for that. God is the ultimate professional and takes care of all our wants and needs through His holy will. You probably won't believe any of this, but God HAS helped me through my whole life and will continue to do so through whatever time He gives me on earth.

Ok. God created humans to be perfect, like Him. They sinned against God's will and that blemish is now passed down to us through every person in the whole world that ever lived besides Jesus Christ. He allows everyone a time of grace on Earth before He sends them to hell or brings them to heaven. It is FAITH in Him through Jesus that saves those who go to heaven and it is that FAITH that God will take care of everything for me that keeps my life going. I may not have a rational response, you're right. But, quite frankly, I don't care that you think God doesn't exist. I have faith that He does and that He is there for me. God doesn't follow human logic and show up and say "Here I am!" He uses his servants on earth to speak for Him. The only time we're all going to see God is on Judgement Day. And God tells you He wants to help you in the Bible...you know, His very own Word. You should read it and then see how you feel.

In fact, I see more happen in this world to show no god. When an 8 year old girl here in Canada was murdered 8 weeks ago, where was your god then? God has a plan for all people on Earth. Some of them people simply don't agree with. Yes, murders happen, rape happens, homosexuality happens, but these things are all part of the plans that God sets before us. We don't like them at times because they're difficult and trying, but that's why faith is key. I can't put it any other way. It simply wasn't in His plans He had for this girl. It's difficult to accept, but that's the way it is. It's God's punishment for our sin. For all I know, that girl was probably a believer and is now with God in Heaven, a much better place than Canada. Look back into the book of Jeremiah to read what I'm talking about.

In Hou, TX. where I grew up, at public schools children said the Lord's Prayer right before? the Pledge each morning (K-12th). Doing this gave me the 1st realization of the existence of God, the Father.

I did not have a father & I took Him as my Father and prayed to Him often. At age 10ish I would stay up until the wee hours of the night

just to hear this particular version of the Our Father broadcast on TV just before the station went off.

Malotte, is a tribute to the greatest Mario Lanza, who originally made this aria quite famous, first through his movie entitled "Because you're mine", then by making a famous recording of this religious song, which remains unforgettable, together with "I'll walk with God", splendid aria, that Mario Lanza subsequently sang in "The Student Prince".

Thanks for posting this. Lanza did indeed do a beautiful rendition of The Lord's Prayer. But the first one to sing it, and popularize it, was the great baritone Igor Gorin. John Charles Thomas also made a popular recording of it. In any case, I never tire of hearing the Mallote setting of this, the greatest prayer. Thanks again for putting it up on Youtube. Five stars!
