I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

WoW this M3 is slow....Only 525rwhp on a STAGE 3 supercharger?....wow An M3 with a HPF STAGE 3 Turbo produces 746hp with 91 octane and 930hp with 110 octane. it will smoke this car...if i were that guy i would trade in that sc and go with the HPF Turbo...

AGREED hpf is creating more power but 500+ horses is not slow xD

yes he can get more power from HPF.. but also more horses doesnt mean your faster. power needs to be put done.

example: my friend has a 700hp under his car... but he only gets roughly 500 onto the floor.

theres ya diff. alota power causes wheel spin etc forcing you to use less power.. if not then you burn off power until it gains traction at a later time - loss of time in race = you lost

but HPF turbo = bragging rights =D

M3 CSL you fuck did you ever think about price and maybe he gets performance parts wholesale or cheap? Why spend 60+K on a car when you can spend half of that and get the same performance and even better if you desire and it's more fun because it's turbo and also people don't expect it. There is much more of a wow factor when you wax people's asses on the street when they think they can beat you..

the first bmw in the video is a preview of aa's turbo 330ci the second one is an m3 with aa's sc and nitrous the video even says that...idoit...and to further rip you apart csl's are only available in europe people cant even get oem csl parts from bmwna because bmw in germany wont allow it

well everyone has made points...very well taken all. but it seems that none of ya'll have heard of the CLK 63 AMG Black Edition, which in my opinion would be a great comparison to the 996 as far as track performance.

Y'all are all stupid. The 996 Turbo has been clocked before at doing 0-60 in as low as 3.6 sec. It also can turn. It also can stop. It also doesn't weigh 4,500 pounds and only come in automatic. AMG is for poseur enthusiasts. Also, none of you even know if that Porsche was stock which it didn't sound like it was.

Straight line acceleration and racing around a track are not the same thing. Though powerful, the larger AMG's simply are not track vehicles; they are performance luxury cars, nothing more. Apples and oranges.
