  • I have never seen the floats being pulled by people. I have only seen them pulled by horses or a motorized vehicle. I noticed a girl with a Hello Kitty mask. I also saw a Kabuki on the front of a float. Thank you for sharing this wonderful festival.

  • I love how Japan has so many festivals. I think it helps tie the Japanese people together more closely. I wish they did more things like this in Japan. I hope I am able to see a festival like this when i come to japan. Is that a noh mask hes wearing?

  • Thank you so much for your sweet comment. Yes, he is wearing a noh mask of fox. It is said in Shinto that white fox is sacred. Most festivals in Japan are held in summer and autumn. I do hope you will be able to enjoy Japanese festivals in the future.
