I'm Brazilian but I've been living in New England for 10 years and in Brazil having a tan line is seen as really sexy yet here people hate it! But also love being tan so...go figure lol. I mean I think it's really cute.

Probably most because white Americans want to look as "exotic" and foreign as possible, and when their tan lines are showing, other people will know that they are not naturally exotic-looking .

i'm portuguese and braziliam, i live in portugal and we spend the whole summer in the beach because that's the only place you can be when it's summer, the wheather is really hot and we have a lot of beaches, and although i'm naturally tanned i don't like very much my tan lines (despite of what he said in the video you can get tan lines even if you're naturally tanned)- i try as much as i can to make them look smaller

I HAVE A TIP. To stay inside the lines you can try to use vaseline on the outer (darker) edge of the lighter area you want to apply the self tanner. same concept as applying vaseline around the hair line to avoid hair colour dye from staining the skin on your forehead and temples.

I wish I would have thought of that when I used to dye my hair, I would always get patches from the dye along my hairline xD I also hear of a similar trick with Vaseline when applying Nail Polish to keep it off the skin. Vaseline really is amazing stuff.

I used a tanning lotion , first scrubbed my whole body and smeared it out. usually there is no cause but when I woke up this morning I saw horrible stains and stripes. have u got any idea to scrub them away or somthing. because this way doesn't work? please help me. kisses esmee

Me too! A gradual tanner put on in thin layers is a fool-proof toe in the fake-tanning pool though. They usually contain moisturisers too, which is great for summer skin.

Try Jergens Natural Glow lotions. It gives a nice effect, and it won't leave any streaky stains or anything. Just wash your hands after you apply!

I agree the Jergens Natural Glow line is great. Make it a daily moisture after bathing. I do add little sun time apply that daily and I have great natural healthy look.

dont do my mistake guys, and wear the longest pair of short shortsr you have... than realizing most your shorts show off this amazing white strip above your tanned legs :( but thisis helpful for tops!
