@wolfofgod Well I wouldn't say the stuff that got famous was crap either...I think a lot of it has to do with what was acceptable at the time. Some of this stuff was ahead of its time in the 60s and would have been too far behind in the 70s...Its a music that's always out of place really. This is a great one though.
@stompinRnB haha what a small world...its funny you mention that...you guys are my absolute favorite band from today..I'd love to hear your version of it. I'm actually on your facebook fan page under my real name of course...Shawn Dugger. Where can I purchase your new album without crazy shipping charges..I'm american and alot of the places I goto online that have your stuff are foreign sites and its crazy expensive.
@oldschoolhero66 haha. ummm... seeing as we're from Australia, i'm not sure if you could get around that... although apparently this Spanish label is bringing out a vinyl pressing of it - so maybe you will want to get that when / if it actually happens - might be cheaper to america from Spain.
- I've only recently joined the band, so i'm not that sure how the shipping costs and all that junk work.
i love this song so much... I wonder if they use two basses or a baritone / detuned guitar played at the bridge? -- it really bugs me. If anybody knows -- it would be much appreciated
@scraperTSB It's a song I feel is much under appreciated..because of the flip I guess...you gotta think its very innovative coming out when it did...I have no idea how they made that bass sound..hmm
@scraperTSB Dude, I totally agree 100% with your entire comment!! I've always loved the bass thing. If I'm not mistaken there two basses - a normal playing underneath and a trebly one mixed upclose. I had a opportunity to buy this 45 back in the mid-80's from Doug Hanners at the Austin Record Convention but I couldn't justify paying $150 for it and he wouldn't take less. Now I wish I'd had the prescience of mind to spring for it, cause I sure wanted! Cheers!

This is one I could listen to over and over and over again. That's how good it is.
