try using a lock-on, sheercold smeargle, or mind reader sheer cold articuno on the gba version. The game literally just says NO to the OHKO move and acts as if nothing happened.
i even had a sash but my +4 earthquake fucking MISSED!
bloody hell its not enough to kill 2 of my pokemon with sheer cold, but to be holding brithpowder and revenge killing garchomp with sheer cold is pure bullshit
not to mention he was asleep, which meant sleep talk had a random chance of choosing either of 3 moves.
i dont know what the probabilities are. 3x cheer cold X brightpowder miss X 1/3 chance of choosing sheer cold whilst asleep
@Kyuuchiuga I agree one blissey would destroy that lame line up in my opinion your tower line up must compose of physical attacker special attacker and the last one should be a bulky type(for close calls or tight situations)
Wow, this is ****ing cheap. Sheer Cold hits 3 times in a row? What are the odds of that, like 2.7% or somewhere around there? And this is coming from somebody who's beaten Pokémon Stadium 2 before (and therefore dealt with a lot of hax there, since that game is rigged, but not as rigged as this). OHKO moves should never exist, period. Or at least they should be 5% accurate or something.
@TempestDacine It is lacking offensive power (physically). But this team (sets) gets so much Battle Tower trainers confused if used correctly. This and my other team (includes Venusaur, Gengar, and a Metagross) is awesome.
@aznRisingSun No, it's a joke about using hax pokemon like wonderguard spiritomb (for D/P) and Slacking with the ability Pure Power...not commenting about your team at all
Hey if u used gengar u will be able to avoid horn drill(Ground attack right?) but regarding sheer cold....well I got nothing to say.
But ur team's not exactly gd for Battle Tower man. I mean...3 Sp atk pokemons and no physical? and ninetales would hav got owned straight up. if u put suicune up....sure u will win but its gonna take hours.
Just cheat lol get a high stat team. Slaking, latias, salamance or something. u will get the gold symbol.
Disregarding the insane hax that was performed on you...Assuming you got your suicune from fire red or leaf green, how did it get such high stats? Aren't all of its IVs supposed to be zero because of that stupid glitch? Or did you use a gameshark?
@kickassjoe3 Nah, I hacked their IV in their original game and transferred them. There stats can be very high if you have the proper Nature and EV Training.
Ice-types are probably the worst to face in the battle tower

um couldn't you have won using thunderbolt on gengar rather than will-o-wisp?

this is why people use wounder guard sableye or spirittomb

Theres actually a combo I found out with Sheer Cold.
If you use Mind Reader with Articuno & the enemy doesn't protect or switch & Articuno knows Sheer Cold, it's a sure-thing 1 hit KO.
I found out from Pokemon Fire Red & Leafgreen, when Articuno knows Mind Reader when you catch it. Info from serebi.net

I don't care how much you support your Ninetales, Suicune and Gengar; they really suck.

LOL! dont underestimate sheer cold XD

You really should have switched to Gengar and thunderbolted when Ninetails died. That sheer cold has like 70 accuracy in the hax tower it seems.

Your team is lacking in pure power slacking

@SwordArcher18 I didn't, haha. I got lazy trying to meet one and transfer so I went to the site to hack and transfer it. ._.

@aznRisingSun Lolz. The entire match would've been different if you used Grudge instead of FB(since Dewgong has Thick Fat).
