@paulmelton70 Yes, it was. That's why it prompted the flash flood warning, which is being scrolled at the bottom of the screen. Slow-moving thunderstorms can produced very heavy rain in a short period of time, which can cause flash flooding.

@ILovestorms You know, I would... but Time Warner, is just "meh." Their customer service was not always the best, but you know, prefer seeing local TV stations now. The ABC affiliate here in Dallas is like nuts when it comes to weather (and their meteorologist does a good tease, too!).

I did not think when there was a flood warning, that they made a red box for it. Usually its in a yellow box.

This is a FLASH FLOOD Warning. There's a red box for a Flash Flood Warning, but just on orange for a Flood Warning. There's a difference between a flash flood warning and a flood warning.

good video (i like hearing the beep for some reason.) its been since late may since we had a flash flood warning. many severe thunderstorms came rolling through the portland metro over night on the 24th. it was crazy. vancouver i think was the only area that got really slammed. rain up to 2 inches in that area.
