  • crazy!

  • wow! just discovered Latryx last night when my friend played Lady Don't Tek No. Where have I been? This is incredible music!!

  • this has sufficiently mind fucked me.

  • @ramafia09 haha i totally agree to that my friend

  • DUDE WTF! if you listen to this with earbuds and take one out then you only hear one rapper and not both

  • @Bubblewrap34 LMAO!! thats the point! Its 2 entirely different verses, one through the left channel, and one through the right! Lateef, and Lyrics Born, doing what they do!! Even 15 years later, I've never heard anyone do anything quite like it! Unique, Original, Innovative, & Thought-Provoking! Everything GOOD music should be!

  • sounds like busdriver

  • hiphopinnovation

  • Beat sounded interesting then got boring. Rapping is wack...=dislike.

  • wow, unfortunate that i just learned of these guys about a week ago. been listening to them every day since.

  • @bEcKeRiNa93 Look on the bright side. It shows there's always more good music to discover ; )

  • i havent listened to latyrx enough before, but i caught them at outside lands and had to check them out. this track DEFINITELY has DJ Shadow's fingerprints all over it, good shit

  • how did I miss this?? fuggin love it

  • @mazrad11

  • Every track strong. Best Hip Hop album of the last twenty years. Refute if you may.

  • I NEED to drop acid and listen to this!

  • If you want to drop acid and listen to this, then you want to drop acid and listen to The Velvet Underground's "Murder Mystery". Far more intense and makes your brain do calisthenics, Hey!, while you're at it, you should listen to "Chemistry Calisthenics" and "Alphabet Aerobics" as well. Both dope tracks with Quannum Family on 'em. Gift of Gab is quite good, if you haven't heard.

  • so sick. Latyrx's first take on this song is pretty dope too and lets you really focus on the lyrics. Check out Latyrx (Last Chance to Comprehend)

  • sort of sounds like bus driver lolol but i love this shit!

  • the mix at the end of the song is SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIK

  • The actual Sgt Pepper of Rap imo

  • my youtube sometimes does this thing where the video looks like it used to on cable where you tune into the channels you don't get. this is the only one where it makes sense.

im sure i just need to update my flash or java or browser or windows or hardware.

  • Reminds me of Doseone. Maybe these guys inspired him.

  • great tune but from 2:25 it really starts to outclass any other hip hop verses ever and my god at 3:18 how funky can it get woooooooooooo

  • Comment removed

  • 6 losers that is!

  • This track changed how I listened to rap.

  • this is the first time i've listened to them. . . my mind has officially been fucked out. . .

  • PROOF that Punk and Hip Hop are brothers with different moms but same babys daddies... Obviously they must have listened too and worship

Rudimentry Peni.... Great stuff this,,, CHEERS!!

  • they had Latyrx go thru how they wrote this track and how they make up their lyrics in general in a dope hiphop book that's out, named 'HOW -TO .RAP' where they spoke with practically alll the best lyrical rappers in there, its a great read

  • listening to this while you're baked out of your mind, it's the most peaceful state of mind, just fuckin magnificent.

  • one of my favorites, lyrics born and lateef are easily the dopest duo to do it. MUCH RESPECT its all about letting loose over a beat and i can feel it to DEATH.

  • I kick the devil in his neck without my rosary on ...

    Classic !

  • 3:16 - 4:04 The perfect verse. God damn that was awesome

  • Real old School Master Rapper's.Unfortunely they have been unotice for so long like unknown scholar's.......!

  • haha LB could be a member of Bone Thugs n Harmony and hed be the best one.

    ... Lyrics Bone? hahahahah

  • otherwordly dope on.

  • @dansl70 smart!

  • actually these breaks are super advanced. what technology drives this?

  • lb is soundin like e40 on this track.

  • this song is fucking sick

  • Who are the two losers that disliked this!!!

  • @GrizzWonder what if it was Latyrx

  • @dogchrist Good point. But now it's 5 people.

  • @GrizzWonder what if it was latyrx x2.5? ;)

  • @GrizzWonder the troll count is up to 9.........play 'em some Lil'Wayne!

  • maybe the best rap tune

  • I've always been thankful that they printed the lyrics in the liner notes of the cd. This shit is FUN to read along to. heh

  • thats HipHop

  • fuckin ass HAHAHAHAHAHH WHAT

  • wow, sounds amazing.

Can u actually get crazy by listening to this?

I dont care, i'm still gonna spin it like crazy.

    thumb up

  • these two guy are incredible!

  • this sounds alot like HELLO by ice cube. well the beginning melody.

  • wow. that was something to listen to.. if you listen to it three times, you could focus on the left speaker, then the right and then try it again with both together (not in that order necessarily)

  • aw man..this is the shiiit!! i finally found it...youtube has finally proven to be useful..thanks..

  • one small step for mankind...

and one bigass leap ahead of hip hop

this audio material is pure genious.

  • god damn

  • ABSTRACT

  • what this is is the best hip hop track ever recorded. light years beyond anything else. It's taken me years just to begin to comprehend what the lyrics actually mean..

    astounding..

  • @Botzisattva you sound retarded

  • props to shadow for production on this track. this is one of those hidden gems of hip-hop that's too abstract for the mainstream but shows how forward thinking the guys at Quannum were. it's a real forward step for hip hop which sadly has gone mostly unnoticed while the genre seems to be spinning its wheels in redundant tales of excess.

  • @FrictionAndFracture ........TOO true. This is unheard-of, while we get endless vocorder and "bottle poppin" club jams on the radio. Experimental stuff like this and the GOOD traditional stuff like Slaughterhouse gives me hope for hip hop

  • mind fuck

  • best song on the album aside from Balcony Beach. awesome conceptual recording.

  • @ELEsdeeX3 The Quickening (The Wreckoning Part II) is also one of the best IMO

  • awesome music!!
