@psykohed Unfortunately, I can't. I lost the patch in a crash, and didn't record them separately, anyways. If I could, I would. The part of the BBB track does not have any of the original Swarmatron part - I used the intro of the album version.
there's another video demoing the swarmatron without Trent's modifications to the default sound. would it be possible to use the differential between sounds of the original to somehow approximate the sounds with Trent's modifications and thus get more than three notes?
@puluvas The main reasons it only does the three notes is that those were all I needed to play that part, and I wanted to include the graphic to mimic the HTDA teaser video. The way I implemented the "ribbon control" would be very impractical for a full range. It shouldn't be too hard to convert it to accept MIDI instead of just the preset three notes, I have just never gotten around to doing that. Thanks for the comment. Might be the encouragement I needed to try and get that done.
wow. very nice! i've started experimenting with max msp... is it possible that you could send me a copy of this file you were working on? i would really appreciate that! email: Nekrose.DeCuir@gmail.com
@ADrowningOfficial Yes, and maybe. I would have to make some of changes to allow it to be controlled via MIDI--not something I am comepletely opposed to doing, it just might take time. You could use it how it is right now, but it will only play those three notes for BBB.
Also bear in mind that it will probably not work like a plugin. You would be able to open it with Max Runtime (free), and play with it. (I could set it up to record the output within Max, pretty easily)
Going to try and see if I can get the separation width going along with the frequency change of the filter (assuming that's what the "F/SW" knob stands for; the one Mariqueen is using in the video). Might help to make it sound a little closer to the original. Right now it's only automating the filter (graph on bottom right).
I'm sorry you lost the patch, I really wanted to play with it!

Could you upload just the synth part without the BBB track? I would love to hear it by itself.
