  • Tormach machines are not yet present in the list of machines in DeskProto.

    Still I am pretty sure that it will work: just select the machine called "ISO plain G-codes" and see if Tormach accepts the resulting files. You can do so using the free trial version.

    In case of any problems you can configure the postprocessor in DeskProto, or ask us to do so for you.

  • @LexLennings I am doing 4 axis milling. Will the iso plain g-codes setting work for that? I just tried it and the rotational axis selection went grey. The tormach I am working with is running on mach 3. can I use that option from the list or are there special configs for that?

  • @leloodallasmultipass For any machine that runs with Mach3 you can use the Mach3 machine definition in DeskProto. In order to make that work correctly you will need to configure the machine definition, as size, speeds and other settings will not yet be correct. You can do so via Options >> Library of Machines >> OK on warning >> Select your machine and press Edit. Now you can set dimensions, speeds and so on.

    Here you can also define that your machine has a rotation axis (button Advanced ...
