Load is the only Metallica album after ...And Justice for All that isn't complete shit. Yes, the black album is shit, and Death Magnetic is shit, and rest goes without saying.
The only reason I like Load, is because I like 90's Alternative Rock/Metal. But it's not great either.

Yea, its bout his mom, for some reason I thought dad, yea, my dad passed away Sept 15th from his cancer, a week or so after I commented on this, but I'm still so glad we have music here to deal with things we can't express fully in any other way, and have a positive outlet in bands and songs. It's what helps me and also that we're all family here, together as one, when I surf songs here on youtube to rockout I feel the energy of every1 of you who were there too at some point, cheers! ‡->

I thought he wrote this soon after becoming a christian and it's about the sins he's commited - hence the snake in the music video...not ripping to those who've lost someone because of cancer cuz my mum died of it when I was eight...but I think this songs really about the inner struggle James' was going through because of his new found faith...but meh.
