  • what I really think is that they're more concerned that children could pickup an addiction due to nicotine.

What I would suggest is that they ban the selling to minors(which I seem to remember is the case) and that they only sell nicotine contained e juice to people who properly need it(like ACTUAL smokers). Suggestively require a prescription from a doctor or something...

  • I'm just glad they don't look like tampons anymore. Those old ads always cracked me up!!

  • They didnt want to ban them to save our lives. They wanted to ban them because tobacco companies (that line politicians pockets) are losing money.

  • HOW THE HELL DID ANALOG CIGARETTES GET APPROVED>>> WHY ARE THEY STILL APPROVED FOR SALE???? Oh yeah they put money into the system so they are ok for public safety....Good call.. we can really put our trust into the FDA and all government agentices.

  • banning e-cigs for producing vapour is like banning arseholes for producing farts.

  • Well it's about time!

  • cigarettes have 2 addictive qualities to them. Nicotine, and the actual physical habit of smoking a cigarette. but like any other drug nicotine will leave your system after a while of not smoking but in turn the habit draws you back keeping you addicted. So if you need to quit, use an e cig, then to get rid of the nicotine, get the e hookah. same but without nicotine though. now you its all about getting rid of that habit. it may not be hard, but at least it isnt harming you in the mean time.

  • I fear this will just become a new habit, replacing the old one. It may be healthier, but don't think everyone who tries this will quit. It almost becomes a more addicting habit, because you can experiment with different flavors, mixing and creating different tastes... Let's just hope it's as safe as they claim.

  • @prof5759 - but banning something just creates a lucrative and often times dangerous (and uncontrollable) black market which is run by gangs/cartels and completely untaxed - just like with the war on drugs - people should work to find a different and more efficient ways to quit- but banning something isn't going to help.

  • @prof5759 They say about 70% of people who use the e-cigarette quit. However. Think about it. The two main chemicals in e-cigarettes are propylene glycol (Considered generally food safe by the FDA) and nicotine. Yes, nicotine is a stimulant. So is FUCKING CAFFINE! You dumbshit. Do some research before you go throwing ideas around.

  • @prof5759 It is true that the e-cigarettes are replacing the habit of smoking. Are you SERIOUSLY suggesting that this is a bad thing? Really? You've convinced me, I'm going to quit vaping and resume filling my lungs with tar and carbon monoxide. That's DEFINATELY a lot better that just nictine. Think a little bit, would you?
