Should have been a much better match. It was very disappointing.

One thing which really bothered me was the very end of the game, when the

Ivory Coast player slowly walked over to take the corner kick, and then - he played it short, knowing full well (extra)time was running out. Was he that worried Portugal would miraculously pull off a counterattack in 10 seconds? Or was he more worried his team might win? It was these last few seconds which told a lot about the entire game in a way.

Yh, both teams were afraid to lose this game knowing that they had to face Brazil later on. You could say Portugal had a big advantage over playing Brazil last, as Brazil would've played out a draw to get through to the next around, as opposed to when Brazil played Ivory Coast and they were going for the win.
