that nest is way too cramped for a budgie. their babies get like mini versions of them so if u can't fit 4 adults in it its too s mall and it should be a box shape with some stretching space
well , its not reali a nest =) its like a resting area! =D usually, the budgies wont breed in there...they would usually breed in the box shape with some strecthing space, like wat u said =D so yea ..hehehe
It looks like you have a young boy, a mature male and a mature female. Of course she will bail whenever she can on the house cleaning, but once she has chicks, you won't get through her.
my male budgie is more dominant than the female, and every time he goes the nest box the female runs out the box, has anyone else seen this happen? i think the eggs aren't getting incubated properly because of it he doesn't quit chasing her out the box aswel,every time she goes in, he goes in and she comes back out again screeching, ,
My budgie is an asshole. I can't tame him, and if I tried taking him out of the cage he'd fly around somewhere in my hous and die... At least I think.
Did she actually lay eggs in that?
