Present Tax Reforms are not for tax increase at all, they r just for closing the ways for tax evasion by big businessmen. And these taxesw are on people who have income more than 75 lacs. So, poorman is not being taxed. All the noise is being made by big business and traders who are fearful that their ways of evading taxes will be closed, and their sale will be documented. Present Tax Reforms are not for tax increase at all, they r just for closing the ways for tax evasion by big businessmen. And these taxesw are on people who have income more than 75 lacs. So, poorman is not being taxed. All the noise is being made by big business and traders who are fearful that their ways of evading taxes will be closed, and their sale will be documented. In all developed countries everyone has to pay taxes. And tax rate is more than 15%. Only 20% people are spared from taxes. But in Pakistan only 3% people are taxable and even they dont pay full taxes and evade 700 billions annually. Isi leay tu Pakistan ke yeh haalt hai. Aur phir hum rotay be hain.

I am talking about big business not common man. All these big traders who make protest over REFORMED GST BILL are tax evaders and most of them r in PMLN. They dont want to sacrify for common man. @ImranRajorvi In Europe and USA, Canada rich people pay 50% taxes on their income and from this revenue govt gives unemployment allowance to unemployed people, gives them houses and builds roads, schools and healthcare. Even sweepers pay 10% tax. TAX to GDP ratio in Pakistan is 9% whereas in India it is 16%. In Europe, USA it s more. But we pakistanies dont want to pay taxes and wish for govt to spend on them. How can it be possible?

@djsam313 The person who built shaukat khanam hospital (we appreciate) and to do that noble cause he collected charity from all the world (how much he contributed personally for that hospital)..... and since the contruction of that hospital shoukat khanam is still begging for charity in the world, they claim that they the best collectors of scarified animals by muslims in Pakistan, they are not providing medical treatments on free of charges basis...

None of us are a perfect society/nation anywhere and it is easy to spot out good and bad things about both Pakistan or India. The situation and background of entire spectrum of Af-Pak troubles is a complicated one. But we can only blame ourselves to let our governments lead us into these miseries. He's right that we need to be more proactive and politically vibrant societies. And yes, Imran is one of the sensible leaders in Pak today; many of us in India know that and respect him a lot.
