did u use some specials pencils or just one type and got these mediums (shades)..

I just used a Bic #2 0.7mm Mechanical Pencil and did the shading using a Q-Tip to blend the values together. Since their lead is somewhat soft, it's easy to blend. You can see the pencil at 0:57. I definitely would recommend using a professional drawing set if you can afford them.

i hear ya bro...next painting/drawing i do i'll be sure to include a video of the original sketch...in actuality, the sketch took just as long as the shading if not even longer just to get it right...tune in and i'll be sure to include the original sketch on the next run! seems like "Tupac in LA" will be the winner of next month's video art/painting of the month!
