I'm not very religious anymore, but my music history class took a trip today to St. Agnes Cathedral in Minneapolis to see this mass performed. It blew me away! ESPECIALLY this movement. It was also interesting to see an entire church service done in Latin, even the readings were chanted in Latin!

Well, its not the regular soprano parts that I find difficult. It is just the Kyrie soprano solo, with crazy long runs of really fast coloratura,  I am singing it now, but it is really difficult and more than a little intimidating. But the music is good and a challenge is even better it just means I am learning! :) Hope it goes well when you perform it with your choir!!
