@Ziypp I don't personally own a Famas but it is a good starter gun but I'd go for something more expensive if you're not new to airsoft. I have a G&G FN2000 and it works great! For other Bullpup rifles if that's what you're looking for the RS Type 95 or ICS L85/86 are other great options. I might buy a Cyber gun licensed Famas this Christmas, so if I do i'll message you back and tell you if it is good or not.

No, cybergun is HORRIBLE.

Buuuuuut, for a first gun, its better then a spring gun.

Just don't expect to get alot of kills with it, and also it will probably break quick, after a month or so.

If your not sure if you want to play airsoft yet, then get it.

But if you KNOW you want to play airsoft, save up, and at-least get a JG or classic army.

@baytownairbrush Sadly, owning real guns in the UK is particularly difficult. Fully automatic weapons, most pistols, and centre-fire semi-auto weapons are all illegal here.

Also, for those weapons we can own, most have to be either stored at a local shooting club, or stored in a secure gun cabinet, so there is very little chance of getting mixed up.

If you want to buy one off the cuff it has to be clear plastic or two-tone.

250FPS is the bare minimum for pistols, 300-350FPS is standard for Assault rifles, and sniper rifles can go up to 500FPS.

In the UK, most sites allow players from 14 and up, but some are stricter, only allowing 16, or 18 and up.
