remember when it sid "Rauru the sage adds his power to your own" ? mI thinks the medallions are what allow the sages to let you make the bridge to get into Ganon's castle, though you're right, it doesn't actually say so in the game.

Caleb ~ Originally, the Medallions were C-button items. Nintendo never disclosed what they were originally used for, but most people speculate they were to teleport around (this was before they actually introduced the Ocarina system). I realize that doesn't really answer your question, but point being, Nintendo was playing with different ideas before they ended up with what we have now.

well all the old games were made to be challenging and since then they have been making them easier and easier just because people get lost and they give up on the game forever so the game creaters have to make them easy so more lazy people will buy such as World of warcraft when a expansion comes out they make it easyer to lvl up its just how the gaming industry makes games now day i wish they would make them hard again easy games are to fast and a waste of money harder the better
