Oh, it's legal, and they do make commission, don't you worry. :-)
The banking system take about 2.29% off each transaction you run, but that's pretty reasonable for accepting credit card payments online or on the iPhone.

Is this legal i wouldn't want to receive a letter from my central bank saying that i'm excepting money without them making credit card commission???
