Pop-metal. X is there only album that some could call pop. Their new album "Songs From the Sparkle Lounge" is just a "rock" album though. Check out Bad Actress, Go, and Nine Lives to see for yourself. It is NOT pop. Slang is not pop either....just a more mellowed-out kind of rock and roll. I liked it...but High and Dry is my favorite.

Just checked out the new live in concert "Animal" vid in July of this year in Pittsburg. Well, they must have gotten my memo on the sound problem or there must have been a lot of others out there who noticed the problem cause it sounds 100% better on that video recently posted on the Tube. Maybe fired the board mixer or radically did something different that makes it a hell of a lot better sounding in concert. What a difference a year makes. Looks like they got the problem corrected.

I am a big Def Leppard fan. I was at this concert...and I gotta tell you the acoustics sucked the live performance sucked and unfortunatly without the in house Mutt Lange recording studio touch...they cannot get the sound down live. Sounded just as bad being there as it sounds on this video. This was the 3rd live concert I have seen Def Leppard. Thought the other two live performances were just bad mixing. Great songs and great band but have to say they suck in concert.
